i really hope we get another season of f1: the academy for this year, i feel like it would help a lot with promoting the girls and series

Also just to be clear (and sorry I swear after that I’ll shut up) saying “but Mick Doohan said this” or “but Jack did that” isn’t a defense, it’s deflection.
If you truly don’t support the harassment or racism that’s been happening, then stop trying to justify it by pointing fingers elsewhere.
No, Jack isn’t responsible for what his dad said. And no, smiling after a crash doesn’t mean someone deserves to be harassed. Context matters : Liam Lawson literally explained that every time there’s a crash, cameramen rush in for reactions, and it’s hard not to laugh at the absurdity of it. That doesn’t necessarily mean that Jack was mocking Franco.
Jack also corrected himself after initially thinking the hateful post came from Argentinian fans. Considering the amount of harassment he’s received, can you really blame him for making that assumption in the moment?
And let’s be clear about something else: Criticism isn’t xenophobia. People calling out toxic behavior from some Argentinian fans — whether it’s the current abuse toward Jack and Yuki, or the past harassment in IndyCar around Canapino, or more repeated instances in other sports — doesn’t mean they’re attacking an entire country or culture. Criticism ≠ xenophobia, especially when that criticism is based on real, harmful behavior.
You can be a fan of Franco and still acknowledge this isn’t okay. You can stand up for your country without excusing harassment or trying to shift the blame onto others to minimize what’s happening.
Saying “I don’t condone the abuse, but…” and then excusing it is the problem. Own your stance.

Not a good race for Doriane in the formula regional race 1 she started 21 and has ended 19. The highest she got was 16.
Hopefully she does better in race two

Why is the only prema lap video we have of the girls from Jeddah when the f2 boys are also there. The girls have had other race weekends without the boys there, but they don’t get lap videos. I don’t see why prema can’t just make lap videos for them.
Out of three race weekends they have had one lap video.
While f2 have also had three race weekends and have had three lap videos. F3 have had two race weekends and have had two lap videos aswell.
Indycar has had five race weekends and five lap videos
The f1 academy girls are the only ones not to get a lap video for every race weekend. And I don’t see a reason to as why.

imagine all of the girls trying to put everyone in hight order, or guess who is who from baby photos and all the other challenges the f1 drivers do. I feel like that would be so fun to see, and so fun for them to do.
sad the race is canceled, but i get is was right call it was to dangerous to let them race and there is a schedule to keep to.
still disappointing though
i also feel bad for the girls who got fucking soaked while doing laps around the track in the rain, to then have their race cancelled.

Love Mercedes and the redbull teams for including their f1a driver. The other teams do need to pick up the slack a bit though it’s really disappointing
I love love love LOOOOOVE that both redbull/vcarb and mercedes were there to support their f1academy drivers at the premier of the Netflix series about f1academy. Don’t get me wrong I love how much redbull/vcarb and mercedes do for their f1academy drivers but the other teams can do this much too. It clearly isn’t that hard so why isn’t every team doing this?
I love how in the new prema video when Doriane says dark the other three immediately mock her on how she says it with her accent. It just gives off the vibe of the older sister and her annoying younger brothers.
