"If you use em dash in your works, it makes them look AI generated. No real human uses em dash."
Imaging thinking actual human writers are Not Real because they use... professional writing in their works.
Imagine thinking millions of people who have been using em dash way before AI becomes a thing are all robots.
I actually really like the idea of Buck and Eddie having some sort of queer platonic relationship going on. 🤔 Platonic love can be just as deep as romantic love.
So it's Buck with both his husband Tommy and his partner in life Eddie. I'd love that, actually.
one of my very favorite obscure story tropes is when there’s an episode/plotline/tabletop campaign session where the conceit is ‘each member of the gang gets trapped in a specially tailored dream/nightmare/illusory mindscape and has to break out’
they were so funny for this
With the release of the "Captain America: Brave New World" trailer, I think it's important to remind people that we're not going to be seeing this movie
And it has nothing to do with Sam. I love Sam with all my heart, I love him as Cap, Sam is not the problem here
What is the problem is the character of Sabra, right down here played by actress Shira Haas
Sabra is literally just Israeli propaganda, that's all she is, this is not an exaggeration. She is a character who represents the state of Israel, and to her credit, she does that very well, because she does not see Palestinian people as human. It took the Hulk telling her that killing innocents is bad for her to realize, "oh... so Palestinian children matter?"
I'm being serious, this is from her first appearance:
And even if Israel wasn't commiting genocide right now, her being in the movie is bad enough due to the extremely negative representations of Palestinian and Arab people
I don't care if Marvel says they're "reworking" her, Sabra represents the genocidal state of Israel and no matter how much they change her, that is what she will always be
"Reworking" my ass, you still casted an Israeli actress for her
If you care about Palestine, you should not be seeing this movie. If needed, pirate it, but do not watch this movie in theaters
We're not supporting this, end of story
Me vs my goal to write 100 words a day for my dissertation.
Day one: 0
Day two: 0
Day three: nearly 500 words in less than 30 minutes
I meaaaaan task failed successfully?
Evan Buckley is not a dumbass. He has a wealth of knowledge about random topics he imparts when relevant, good at his job, and conscious of the feelings of those around him.
Eddie Diaz is not a dumbass. He is smart, capable, and at 23/24, he was in charge of 8-16 soldiers in a warzone.
Evan Buckley & Eddie Diaz at work are not dumbasses. They have worked like a well-oiled machine for almost a long as they've known each other.
Evan Buckley & Eddie Diaz looking after Christopher are not dumbasses. They are kind, loving, doting, and firm but fair.
Evan Buckley & Eddie Diaz hanging out with no responsibilities or deep trauma looming over their heads are a pair of dumbasses. That's just (boy) math.
joey batey did not write "you're not a coward cause you cower; you're brave because they broke you, yet broken, still you breathe" (x) to be known as the toss a coin to your witcher guy
Honestly, with all the tradwife cooking trash circulating, it only makes me love B Dylan Hollis more for baking vintage recipes while being openly gay, making sexual jokes, and screaming at the ingredients. He's the antithesis of every soft-spoken cishet woman cooking for her husband and children. You don't have to be an idyllic cottagecore housewife to cook.
