Caged Wings Had this idea in my head for a while now. Finally gave it a go. Though my original idea was of a caged tiger, it somehow became birds as I sketched. Dang, this book is nostalgic. It was released in 2002 (the same year I received that comforter it's currently laying on, incidentally), back when I was nine/ten-years-old and my baby bat journey officially began. Over half of the websites mentioned are Geocities or Angelfire and a bunch of the bands and messageboards it mentions no longer exist.

people are misinterpreting this so much. OP isn't saying you don't just hate kids in general because you don't just hate things for no reason.

you don't "hate kids," you hate being forced into a caretaking role.

you don't "hate kids," you're just not used to occupying fully age diverse spaces so you're not used to the noise or the many different kinds of needs.
