This random guy from Dead Poets Society is the Twinkiest twink that I’ve ever seen
(He’s twinkier than Todd!!!!! Than Todd!!! How’s that possible??😭😭)
Let's talk about Cameron (again) and Charlie.
I know some people hate Cameron, but if you hate Cameron and love Charlie, you just don't understand Cameron's complexity and ignore him just beacause of his dumb attitude.
But, if you hate Cameron beacause of what he did, then why don't you hate Charlie too because of his stupids actions?
I love Charlie's character, but I also like a lot Cameron's character. Charlie and Cameron, they both wanted validation from authority, but in different ways.
When Charlie got the "call from God", he wants to prove that he could do more, be more. When Mr. Keating went to reprimand his attitude, Charlie's reaction was to get upset and say that he thought Mr. Keating would like that.
Cameron on the other hand, wanted validation too, and saw opportunity in the worst possible scenario. Cameron didn't feel like he was part of the group, Charlie made a point of putting him down whenever possible. I dont want hate on Charlie, but just as Charlie doesn't deserve hate for doing stupid things, Cameron doesn't deserve it either.

I want to talk about Charlie. Like, I've seen some people talking about how against the system and rules he is, and how he would probably be part of some social group that fits into this, like punks or something like that.
But I have to disagree, 'cause I don't think that Charlie is against the system and rules because he care about minority or something. I think he's against all that stuff because he likes to be loud, he likes to go against the others opinions just bacause he can. Yes, he's a free spirit, yes he likes to be himself, but in my opinion his revolt against the autority is more about his trauma and his own wishes than about what is right and what is wrong. So, no. I don't think Charlie would care about be part of social groups because of what the social group belives.
(it's not a hate on Charlie, pls)
Dylannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn THE MAN U ARE!!
Bitchhhh oh my God 😭😭😭
Maybe some people will not agree with me, but idc
Cameron is not that bad, and Knox is the real problem.
Let’s start with the biggest problem. Knox Freaking Overstreet. What a hell is wrong with you??? I just read the DPS book, as if that wasn't enough to make movie Knox a creepy stalker, in the book is 1000% worse.
He just touched Chris without her permission, she was kissing her boyfriend when that happened (wtf???)
And I don’t know why people hates Cameron so much when Knox literally committed a crime.
Cameron was scared, he was controlled by his parents as much as the others, people forget that some people deal with things that happen to them in different ways. Cameron was scared, he didn't feel like he belonged to the group and he did what he thought was right.
Remembering that before Mr. Keating arrived, they were all raised to think that only one way of thinking was correct.
So I totally understand if someone doesn’t like Cameron for what he did, but the one who deserves to receive hate is Knox.
thinking about richard cameron and literally near tears.
the other poets don’t (at least i chose to believe for my own mental health) intentionally leave him out. i just think when your in a big group like that it’s easy to get left out.
what that thing? “there’s always a duo within a trio”?
i don’t think they leave him out or push him aside on purpose. i just think including cameron, who’s a bit odd, a bit of a kiss ass, isn’t on the top of their priority list.
And to add on to that— i don’t think cameron puts himself on the outskirts bc be thinks himself better. i think if you really watch the movie critically you see him wanting to be included at every turn.
he goofs off with the boys at dinner, he goes to the meetings even though he thinks them dangerous, he helps them study (idk about you but i have NEVER helped someone i didn’t like study..)
the poets don’t intentionally leave him out but they don’t make concentrated effort to bring him in. it’s no wonder when the group he’s never felt fully a part of disintegrates, he’s the first person to offer a tell all.
he wasn’t a terrible person plotting against them from the beginning. he was a 17 year old kid looking for approval from his peers.
he wanted what we all want, community, and i think it’s exponentially tragic that he never got it.
Fuck it, here’s a google drive with dps and some other rsl movies that I got from somewhere on the internet, enjoy!
YES JOSH, I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW!!!
Not doing well
