To elaborate, it really bothers me that some goths and punks feel a desire to judge others based in their tastes in music or fashion. The entire point of any alternative subculture is to embrace individuality and self expression. To say that one band, one artist or clothing style is "less goth" and "less punk" is fucking insane. That's why the subculture is so great, people can unite under something a little more strange than the usual culture.
