went to the bookstore yesterday and got some new books. i was mainly looking for books that were easier to understand and relate too. here are the ones i found:
-fish in a tree by Lynda Mullaly Hunt. it's supposedly about a disabled student who has trouble in school
-a storm of strawberries by Jo Cotterill. its about a girl with down syndrome who loves her older sister. but her older sister's friend is sleeping over and all her older sister's attention is on is her friend and its making the main character upset, who just wants to spend time with her. there is also a tornado.
-full cicada moon by Marilyn Hilton. its about a mixed girl who has trouble with the fact that she doesn't physically look like either race she is mixed with. and she wants to be an astronaut.
-what a wonderful phrase by Nicola Edwards and Many Montoya. its about a bunch of different commonly heard phrases from around the world and what they mean. i take things too literally and this explains where the phrase orignated from and what it really means.
-our generation: a fair share at the diner by Erika Nadine White and Geraldine Charette. i like our generation dolls and it felt sad to see this book abandoned at the bookstore and for only $0.25 as well. i figured it would be a good idea to get to know the two characters (who are also physical dolls) from this book.
-the selkie girl by Janis Mackay and Ruchi Mhasane. the title pretty much tells you what its about. its a scottish and irish (but this book in particular is the scottish one) folklore about selkie's.

Random art I made :)
I started playing Skyrim today after not being able to play for around 2 months.
Season Undending is a difficult mission.
The name should tell you enough how hard the mission is. It's not a matter of it being hard in the game, its a mentally hard mission. I just feel so angry, confused, and sad whenever I play it.
At least I got to meet Odahviing. I've been playing this game for more than 6 years and I've never been able to get far in the main questline. I finally have gotten to the point of meet Odahviing, which is a really big achievement to me.
Odahviing is very sweet and I do like him. I'm glad I got to meet him. At least that one good thing came out of Season Unending.

On August 31st, we went to Jacobsburg. When we waddled over to the bird area, we saw that a Fall Webworms nest had fallen out of the tree and onto the ground. There was some storms I think the day before and since the Fall Webworms lay their eggs and make their nest on the edge of branches in trees, it is a very likely thing to happen. I hope all the baby Fall Webworms survive.
Fall Webworms are considered pests and can sometimes even be confused as invasive species. Fall Webworms are actually native to North America. They can be found all over, even up to Canada and down to Mexico. Fall Webworms do not harm trees or plants. They are actually one of the most important pollinators for our trees and many other native plants. The only "harm" they do is cause cosmetic damages.
A female Fall Webworm will make her nest on the ends of branches, taking a few leaves into the nest. She will then lay her eggs in there. The baby Fall Webworms will eventually hatch into caterpillars and feed on the leaves inside the nest. As they get older and bigger and stronger, they will go deeper into the nest to eat the leaves inside.
Fall Webworms are a native species that is beneficial to North America.
*the bag in question*
I have a bunch of pins on the front and my mallard keychain on the zipper
In the front pocket i keep my inhaler and inhaler chamber, my sunglasses, my mask and two stim toys: a squishy sugar malt ball and a keycap clicker
In the other pocket I have my medicine box, my wallet, my pouchie, and my trinket box
Inside my pouchie I have my earbuds, my lip balm and my key with my banana lip balm keychain and parks and forests tags
Inside my trinket box is a ring my mom got me for graduation, a shopkin, rainbow moonstone, a calico critter (Justin from the caramel dog family), a star and a dinosaur charm. This is a box that holds things I collect. I cycle through my things every month. This is just this months box is.
I also bring some things for bird identification. These are the current ones I carry.
I also have my headphones that I sometimes carry.
I also normally carry water and a snack. This is mostly what I keep in my bag and use on a daily basis.

My dragon age origins character and her multiple outfits throughout the game:
Daenyris Cousland- Female noble/Cousland
I romanced Leliana with her
I went on the first outside checkie uppie today and found a moth. the moth is a moss moth or a green arches moth. it was hiding in a shaded spot on some brick. it was very cute and soft and fluttery.
