I tell my friends how I’m scared of antisemitism, generational trauma activated by people spreading lies about a war in another part of the world, attacking Jews in the diaspora, I tell them I don’t know what I’m going to do, this weight tight on my chest, fears I can and can’t control.

And they say I’m wrong, exaggerating, playing the victim and misinterpreting what’s going on.

Just stop talking to me, they say without words.

So I do.
