canon: they died
fanfic: fUCK YOU
vi holds gerts hand while eating her alive
It matters because I gave it meaning bitch
promise of hope au in which Anton never finds Sacha but keeps reliving the time before his disappearance in his head wishing he could just stay in there forever
vi should have been able to learn how to prioritize and take care of herself without jinx needing to leave her </3 literally no one can convince me that jinx HAD to leave in order for vi to learn how to put herself first. i honestly think jinx leaving makes things much worse for vi
and on that note, there was no legitimate reason vi and jinx had to separate. "jinx had to leave to break the cycle" makes NO SENSE. the cycle was ALREADY BROKEN, in act 2, when vi and jinx reconciled!!!
i would have been on board with their separation if the writers went down a route that's like "vi and jinx's relationship becomes too toxic to be sustainable" or something of that nature. but they didn't do that. NOTHING in the show tells me that vi and jinx HAVE to be separated
Every beautiful romance ever made is about two freaks who mask their freakishness & live conventionally but isolated until they meet and match each others freak so hard it ruins both of their lives
No, I’m NOT well.
The writers may as well have spit in her face by making her participate in gassing Zaunites with Caitlyn. Vi knows kids work for the Chembarons. She knows the dire situation in Zaun and what lengths people have to go to survive. She would never agree to it.
AND in S1, Caitlyn would’ve left her in Stillwater if she hadn’t agreed to help // said “The Undercity is gonna eat you alive.”
I’m going to SCREAM if I think about this any longer.
Writer: "Ugh, I hate this Vi character, can we kill her off?"
"But, she's supposed to be the main character... We can't get rid of her now."
Writer: "We can't? Man, she's like dirt beneath my nails. Fine, I'll just stick her in a pit somewhere and leave her there while we write more of Caitlyn's dictator arc. Then I'll throw in a scene at the end that makes her partially responsible for her sisters apparent death. Man, things would be so much better if she was dead."
Writer: *Gasp* "Wait a minute! I just thought of a perfect idea for an AU episode!"
"can we normalize-" NO!!!!!! we do not need to expand whats considered normal!!! we need to teach people to stop reacting judgmentally when encountering something new and weird!!!! things dont need to be normal to be respected!!!!!!!!!!
