Arcane act 3 spoilers

Okay no one talks about this but canonically Noxus aka Mel's place of origin does not accept mages. If I remember correctly they view magic as unfair because their belief is anyone can be a leader if you have the strength and courage to do it. But magic gives people an unfair advantage. And what is Mel? A mage

Mel the daughter of a Noxian general (im assuming). Mel who has struggled with her identity as her Medarda her entire life and I think subconsciously her magic has affected that. Mel who is returning to Noxus (from the looks of the ending of arcane)

I'm curious to see how the writers will handle Mel being a mage if noxus is the next place the writers will focus on.

sidenote If noxus is the place they focus on MEL BETTER BE IN IT I SWEAR TO GOD WE BETTER SEE MEL. AND I hope we get a glimpse of Ionia bc Noxus has been the only place we've heard anything about.

Jinx's traces of make up after she has cried looks like Vi's face tattoo but backwards and they both have it in their left cheek.

Besides, her final look and outfit resembles her sister's in S1 and S2. The bandages covering her chest and the new hairstyle with the shaved undercut on the same side is also similar to Vi's.

After all it seems like Vi and Powder cannot coexist in the same timeline or dimension. When Powder lives, Violet doesn't. When Vi lives, Jinx decides not to. "Always with you, sis".

The parallels, the attention to detail and the design for each character in Arcane is insane. I can't believe this amazing series is over. I'm gonna miss these sisters like they were my relatives.

no the traveler doesn’t know him as ajax. if the traveler knows their character stories he wouldn’t have had to explain to them his abyss thing in fontaine aq. it’s only his family, pulcinella and us(players).

I'm pretty sure I remember his little brother referring to him as Ajax in front of the traveler during his character story. So that tells me the traveler at least has an idea that Ajax is his real name. Especially since he told us Childe is a fake name. Also, the traveler tends to be close to characters within the story so I wouldnt put it past him to tell the traveler.

This is a very slippery slope but I keep seeing very conflicting views on Cait and I have an opinion.

I'm gna put facts first and then my opinion else I may go off topic.

Season 1 - Cait is very idealistic. She wants to help the undercity and despite her upbringing she's not as prejuidiced against Zaunites as other members of Piltover.

Season 1 ends with Jinx killing Caits motherand season 2 begins with the aftermath.

Episode 1-3 We still see Cait, seeing people from the undercity as people, placing the blame of the bomb on 1 person- Jinx.

Then the memorial happens and it's interfered with. Cait is appointed as head of a unit to do that whole martial law thing.

Not to mention the breakup with Vi and Jayce and Mel going missing. (Her other support systems)

Later on we find out Ambessa has been manipulating everything from behind the scenes in order to gain what she wants - power.

NOW YOU TELL ME If you are someone who is grieving and this motherly figure comes, basically handing everything you want on a silver platter, telling you that you are right to feel this way and right to want revenge. And you don't have much of a support system anymore. Would you not be more susceptible to manipulation? Did this also not happen to Jinx? Did Silco also similarly tell Jinx this stuff? But yall wna see him as a great father when he actively affirmed her abandonment issues and other issues. (I have thoughts on Silco as a parent and luckily I'm not blinded by being attracted to him)

Im not in any way justifying what Cait did with the grey, that was completely uncalled for and of her own volition. HOWEVER similar to jinx after losing silco, that girl was not in a healthy state of mind. Jayce literally used the hexcore to bring back Viktor in his grief. Even after promising not to use the Hexcore. People don't think properly when emotionally distraught this is a fact of life you can disagree with me but I've seen it.

What I'm trying to say is grief and emotional distress makes desperate people do things they wouldn't normally do. I don't agree with Caits actions. But I entirely understand how she got there and while her redemption could have been better unfortunately we aren't lucky like we were with ATLA. I do think Caits villain arc should have been a season and then her redemption take place over another season which would be the final season. Cait also does atone for her actions, she betrays Ambessa and she sets Jinx free. Call her a bad person but then you have to call Jinx and Silco and all the other characters bad people. They're all flawed and they all do things that aren't necessarily good. Vi puts on an enforcer uniform. Maddie Exists. Jinx killed firelights and Caits mother. Viktor became the #1 eugenics fan. They're all flawed hello.

How the different jjk characters would ask you to their matric ball (south african prom but fancier bc it's only in your last year)

Gojo: goes overboard, purposefully slightly cringe. He does it at school too. He has a poster, a fat bouquet of flowers with Lindt chocolate. Even a box of condoms as a joke (not really) He makes geto film it so he can post it on tiktok and go viral (he does) he makes a playlist to play off of a jbl speaker too.

(This one specifically)

Careless whisper and that one boys to men song are the top two songs. He also makes a song and sings it loudly and obnoxiously. For the rest of the day he's trailing behind you holding everything he got you as punishment for embarrassing you. He's humming careless whisper for the rest of the day too.

Geto: He's more subtle. He gets your favourite flowers and sweets. He doesn't do it at school he shows up to your house when he KNOWS you'll be cute so you can take pictures.

Nanami: flowers, chocolates, card, the whole nine yards. He plans the night too. Takes you out to formally ask you at your favourite restaurant. He also gives you a necklace to wear with your dress (he already knows the style you want of course)

Toji: passes a note to you in class and asks you. When you say no he waits by your locker to ask you. When you say no again he FINALLY buys some flowers to ask you.

Choso: He's sweet, similar to geto he asks you in private. He's super nervous, so you can tell he wants to ask you something. He has your favourite book or manga and a card that he shoves in your hands while quickly asking you if you'll be his date to the MD, but it's okay if you say no. You two are the ones that end up a couple after MD (and the only truly cute couple)

Sukuna: does not ask you. Shows up to your house with a nice car. You wonder how he got your exact dress colour to match the hankerchief in his breastpocket.

Shoko: She's nonchalant. She wasn't even planning on going until you kept hinting and hinting (no subtlety at all). Then she started asking about your dress colours and plans so she could work out her own. Then one morning you opened your locker to a card and a singular rose asking you officially and apologising for not realising you meant as dates for the longest time. (Oblivious lesbian shoko is MY CANON)

Yuki: Said you're her date from grade 8. And she meant it. Except she didn't think you'd be going as dates and not as friends. (YEARNER YUKI) Does the whole nine yards. Flowers, chocolates,sweets, and cutesy teddy bear, she makes a big fat deal of it.

- HES SO FINEEEEE

- he's only so low bc he left Cristina at the alter

- he loved her enough to leave her and omf GUYS I CANT I LOVE BURKINA

- the way he kissed her in the on call room LIVES RENT FREE IN MY MIND

8. Season 1,2 and partly 3 Izzie Stevens

- Her storyline with her daughter broke my heart and I wish it wasn't George who was there for her I wish it was Miranda.

- they ruined her character with the homewrecker storyline and now she irritates me

- the only time I've actually HATED a characters development

- went from a genuine sweet guy to a "nice guy"

- seriously the writers hated George's character you can't tell me otherwise bc WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT.

-loved his episode with Miranda tho he was what she needed while in labour.

- when he got on the bed behind her to help her omf guys HE WAS SO ATTRACTIVE THEN

- then he got the finance playboy haircut and turned into a dick and I've lost all attraction

Meredith isn't included bc I love her character so much I'd need a whole post dedicated to her. Genuinely she's the best representation I've seen of someone struggling with mental health and I relate to her, so I cannot rank her.
