A Reintroduction I Guess🤔

Not sure if this is for anyone or just me but here we go.

My tumblr used to be for my Bandom writing back in the day, but back in the day it was also a cess pool here so I got out when I stopped writing after my husband passed away in 2018.😓

I did pick up writing again but this time it was anime which I started watching as a coping mechanism for his death and still use it till today. Sadly my writing has slowed down in the past few years, but I really do want to pick it up again. I guess I just need a bit of motivation but i can't figure out where to get it from. I digress though.😩

Most of SNS is a cess pool now thanks to shitty people and politicians that think they are playing a game of LIFE for real. I just need a place where I can vent my feelings without someone judging me that I just can't delete without retaliation.🙄

I started writing because of another writer telling me that I should try. When I wrote my first fan fic, I received many comments and to be honest it was like a bit of an addiction. I looked forward to the e-mails that said I had a comment and watching the hits and kudos rise on my story was exciting. That was three years ago. That was when My Chemical Romance was still together.

Since then I have watched a decline in my fandom as well as the once great writers. They gave up and moved onto other fandoms like Supernatural. X-men, or new bands. Some left their work to still be enjoyed, others deleted it...which is why when I like a good fan fic, I download or copy it for my own personal enjoyment. 

I made a decision though to continue to write and to stay in my fandom predominately. i do incorporate other fandoms, like FOB and Panic!, but the main subjects alWays revolve around MCR.

Recently, I have been getting not only very few comments, but some hurtful ones that go beyond constructive criticism or I get the ones that just ask for updates right after i put one up. Also the comments that I have written to some are ignored and that never fells good. :(

It says right in my bio that I will alWays answer a comment no matter how short it is. I also love seeing kudos on fics that are kind of old too. They make me smile the most! ^-^

On a personal note. I’ve met wonderful people throughout fandoms and by leaving comments. I’ve made great friends, some even on comment sections, as we shared our enthusiasm for the same story. 

People who like the same ships often hold similar character traits and life experiences; they’re people who would get you. The bonds in fandoms only strengthen when people meet other people as humans - and there are fantastic humans waiting to meet you.

((Methodology For Data Collected

For this, I’ve used AO3, currently the most popular fanfiction website. 

I’ve taken the first ranked story in each ship, completed, rated by kudos - since bookmarks on AO3 can be set to private so the counters don’t reflect the real numbers - to reflect the stories that had the most positive feedback in their category.

For the comments, I’ve (falsely and intentionally) assumed the numbers represented are singular comments from singular, different users (tipping the scales in favor of the commenters). For Destiel, Johnlock and Spirk I had to pick the second story by kudos, since for the first the deviation error (assuming the author haven’t replied and there aren’t discussion threads included in the comments) was far too high for the ratio to be accurate, and my initial assumption couldn’t be applied. My apologies to the authors.

Today was a weird work day. We had a power outage cause people don't know how to drive for about an hour but it never got busy after that so sucks for the cafe but I was fine with it. Meh, anime time!😶

Damn! I really did think that Oguri was gonna lose. Like the rule of sports anime is that you have to lose the key battle in order to have the come back arc. Is it cause this isn't a sports anime but an idol anime?🤔

I jumped when the Master kabadoned Yuli but then when her leg went through him and I was like oh, that's why he looks like Kurt.😁

Gorilla no Kami kara Kagosareta Reijou wa Ouritsu Kishi-dan de Kawaigarareru

I am so glad the romance is actually going somewhere. I don't mind the slow place since we got the kiss. Also those little split moments in the village from more than one perspective? I really enjoyed that and finally some others know that she is a junior knight. 😊

Ore wa Seikan Kokka no Akutoku Ryoushu!

Being an evil lord isn't that easy huh? I mean the idea of wine, food, and women all around is a classic concept from literature but no one talks about the ramifications do they? I feel bad for Banfield honestly cause although he is an adult inside with these idea they just sound childish no matter what age you are.😆

Sunday Anime Line Up

Man yesterday was killer. Because of how much spring cleaning I did on Sat, I slept till I had to work on Sunday so I didn't watch any anime until I got out of work, but I went to my friends house to be her private chef so I was not near my computer either to post when I was done.😩

So instead of posting this yesterday I'm doing it today but I will have another post for Monday Anime right after it so stay tuned!😉

Tu Bian Ying Xiong X

So I'm not going to lie. I knew who the villain was before the reveal from the one scene but the whole moment was killed for me when i found out that Firm Man's boots were so firm that he could not bend at the knees and that bathroom scene had me crying laughing.😂

Uma Musume: Cinderella Grey

I kind of knew the end of the race cause it was too soon but when we saw those kicks I understood even more. It was nice to see at least one of the three bullies back off now, the red head of course, and in full tsundere mode which I am here for always.🤭

Lazarus

From Jerry to Jill and Baklava from grandma this was an interesting episode and I loved watching Axel destroy the guy trying to scam him. Still using an axe to get a watch is a little over the top don't ya think?😖

Kanchigai no Atelier Meister

I can understand why they can't tell Kurt that he is OP as fuck cause he really would not believe them since he compares himself to the others from his home village. Its kind of sad honestly but at the same time it is really funny watching them convince him of what they can and it takes like two hours.😄

Is it terrible to say I really like Arcient? He is clearly a shitty guy but the way he said that Sophia was his prey just gave me the shivers. This should not surprise anyone who knows who my avatar is.😏

Kakushite! Makina-san!! / Chotto Dake ai ga Omoi Dark Elf ga Isekai Kara Oikakete Kita

So these are two short form anime, about 12 min with OP/ED, that fall into the ecchi category that I am enjoying like after dinner mints or a fun size candy bar at the end of my anime watching day. Really nothing else just some guilty pleasure ecchi comedy.😁

Put my anime watching on hold today to go see the 30th anniversary of Se7en on the big screen with my kid and bestie. It was so worth it even with the fire alarm going off in the middle of one if the best scenes. It left such a cliff hanger. 😅

After all Morgan Freeman can't make a bad film. 😎

I really like seeing the MC realize that need to do more in order to grow as a person and an adventurer especially when they see those around them doing what they need to succeed. This was a really good ep.🧐

Everyone was going on about the Deer Head Dude or the crazy scientist and all I was looking for was the dude in the inviso suit cause he was the one that stood out in this arc.😆

That was the most intense game of Old Maid I ever watched outside of a gambling anime for the dumbest stakes. 🤣

Saturday Anime Line Up

I was watching my last anime before posting and a fucking spider showed up on my shoulder, crawled through my hair and went on my chair. I have arachnophobia and I screamed for my kids and froze in the middle of t he room and could not move. Ugh, it was so terrible! I was snotting like a five year old and crying and my son's boyfriend had to comfort me while he killed the spider and got it out the room. 😭

Okay i've calmed down now so let's get to the list...that's a lie i keep looking over my shoulder like a dead spider is gonna come back and get revenge on me.😖

Nazotoki wa Dinner no Ato de

So it took a few more episodes but i am all in on this one now. I forgot how amusing Miyano-san is when he plays a fully dialed up character. i think the last one was from Zombieland Saga. It's been a while since i laughed like that.😄

Anne Shirley

So Anne of Green Gables was written in 1908 and Polly Anna was written in 1913. I can't help but to compare the two heroines since they have similar outlooks on life. Considering the time frames neither author probably knew of each other especially since one was in Canada and the other in the North East. Plus Polly Anna's author passed in 1920 so she was much older when published. Its just kind of fascinating though don't ya think?🤓

Katainaka no Ossan, Kensei ni Naru

I don't know why people think this is a harem anime. Like yeah the Allucia and Surena are into him but the others just revere him like a father figure. He also clearly has no interest in anyone and Beryl is too busy giving life lessons any way to think of romance. Also what a surprise, the church sucks.🙄

Kowloon Generic Romance

Well now. That was interesting. I honestly thought the women in the film was Yomae and she got plastic surgery to look different so she didn't get recognized but it was a whole other reason! I also prefer the fake version of my birthstone, rose quartz, to the real one, opal, because I always thought it shone more.🤔

If you missed it go back and watch after the ED cause holy shit did we get some info and background story that I am still trying to process! Also Kujou B is really nothing like Reiko at all other than slight resemblance. You can tell especially in their personalities and when they smile so why the confusion. They really only share a name.😶

Kuroshitsuji: Midori no Majo-hen

I love when Sebastian does Sebastian things! Also we got that ceiling scene from the manga and mirror!Ciel as it were. There is so much spoiler in that moment if you know what to look for. Oh and seeing the knight piece also reminded me of this figure that i have!🥰

I was soooo confused in the beginning of the episode cause I don't remember anything happening to Yuki last ep. I even went back to check if I missed after the credits stuff. It was just a weird way to start the ep honestly.😵

I do have to give a big W to the prince though. I thought he was a piece of shit but he kept his promise to Raine and let her go and punished the count for lying to him. That was some simple but tasty revenge.😌

I have a question as to how that pork was cooked for the sandwiches cause it was a little too pink for my taste but that Slovaki recipe? You can bet i'm gonna try that one for sure!😋

Okay so after all that excitement I need to go watch something else. Maybe some reaction vids will calm me down. Anyway haz a good one and hope it's spider free. Mata ne!😣

Please Stop Comparing Them😓

So I decided to do one last anime rant for tonight. This one is just a personal feeling but it has just gotten stronger and stronger as the season has gone on. Please please PLEASE stop comparing Ameku Takao no Suiri Karte to House MD.😒

For those that don't live in the USA or use a VPN to watch American shows, House MD is a dramedy about a doctor named Gregory House that is an unconventional, misanthropic, cynical medical genius who, despite his dependence on pain medication, successfully leads a team of diagnosticians at the fictional Princeton–Plainsboro Teaching Hospital (PPTH) in New Jersey. That was from IMBD. Now...

Ameku Takao no Suiri Karte is about Ameku Takao Sensei a brilliant yet eccentric director of investigative pathology at Tenikai General Hospital, in charge of diagnosing patients the other hospital departments cannot. However, due to her love of solving mysteries, Takao also gets involved with mysterious deaths and murders, all while dragging along her assistant Takanashi Yu Sensei in her various adventures. Again this is from the novel description.🧐

Now what do they have in common; Well they are both super smart. That makes sense. Both Ameku Sensei and Dr. House have people in charge that they butt heads with naturally. They also diagnose patients in unique and unconventional ways. Again that all makes sense. Now lets see what is different.🤔

Oh yeah...HE'S PSYCHOTIC! House is also dependent on pain meds so yeah addiction. What's Ameku Sensei addicted to? Sweets and picking on Takanashi sensei dragging him out to do silly things like cafes and movies...wait, those are date spots...ugh we can only hope thanks to the ED. 😋

i also know that House has a downward spiral multiple times from his addiction and his mental breaking moments. I do acknowledge that he is much older that Ameku Sensei is but that just means he is old enough to take responsible for reals.🙄

Okay okay I know these are both fictional characters and who really cares whether they are compared. I guess I am just personally bothered that there can be a young female fictional character that solves patient's diagnosis as well as some mysteries on the side and be a good person. Why does there have to be something wrong with them? Why do they have to have a mental defect and not just be quirky? What's wrong with quirky? Doogie Houser MD was quirky...well he was still high school age. Oh and he was played by Neil Patrick Harris from How I Met Your Mother.😅

Anyway, rant over and I just needed to get this off my chest so feel free to ignore it all, but I feel better now so I can sleep...aka read manga till I pass out.😁

Thursday Big Anime Line Up!

Last week was a rough week body pain wise and this week was not much better. On top of that the next few days are rough because today is my late husband's birthday, tomorrow is my father's and he has been gone for a long time but it can still be hard. It is also Pi Day too which is how my late husband helped me handle it but now he's gone so...you can see where i am going with this.😓

I digress though. I am trying to perk up a bit since i have my Hanabie/Kim Dracula concert on Sunday so let's just move forward with last weeks and this weeks ep of each anime on my list! Depression be damned!😤

Akuyaku Reijou Tensei Oji-san

Not going to lie, last weeks ep felt like filler other that the daughter almost convincing Dad that she was helping him. This week though...culture festival and gender swapped roles in a play? Yes Please! Also low key love Anna's mom!😅

Dr. STONE: SCIENCE FUTURE

have I mentioned how much i love Gen's eyes in this screen shot? Anyway, it's been a rough few episodes but thanks to Luna doing the right this, Senku is back in the game. Also Chrome is MVP for sure using his brain harder and more than ever before and how can I not mention our best boy himbo Taiju making friends with the enemy without even blinking!😂

Trillion Game

Well we went to Vegas, gambled and lost, but did we really cause Gaku got a bit of a backbone after the trip and then he used it in this weeks ep on the golf course with our biggest backer! Haru had some crazy idea and it worked of course but then Dragon Bank comes along and...well we all know how that goes, but then again Haru always has a trick up his sleeve and he goes "All in."😎

Arafou Otoko no Isekai Tsuuhan Seikatsu

I really thought that he was gonna bag another one this week after the countess put all her assets on display but between the other girls and Kenichi actually having some morals it didn't happen. Neither did the tiger lady yet, but I'm not ruling her out. That performance that Kenichi had to put on with the backhoe tossing around a log like it was a damn circus anime was too stupid to not laugh.😆

Momentary Lily

My head hurts from these last two ep. It's hard to not spoil this twist, but I did not see it coming at all! Renge was the biggest shock! 😵

Fuguushoku [Kanteishi] ga Jitsu wa Saikyou Datta: Naraku de Kitaeta Saikyou no [Shingan] de Musou Suru

Well i was right! This mini arc that we had for sure was damn close to what I predicted. It was solved pretty quickly but i am not bothered by it. I am just wondering what Lord Ein Rayshik is gonna do now with three wives and one husband?🤔
