Just a note to all the entitled little brats out there. Prince Philip was a controversial figure, yes. I don't give a shit about your views, but since you are very outspoken about them, I thought I would share mine. He was a great consort, the longest-serving consort in history. He stood by and supported Her Majesty The Queen for almost seven decades. He was a very devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, who had a very difficult childhood and family background. He was brought up under different circumstances at a very different age. He is also a World War 2 veteran. There are tons of amazing things he had done. He truly earned the respect of the people. So I just want to say, that if you can't find anything about him to respect, then just shut the fuck up and let those who respect him mourn him. I'm sure you would not say nasty things, mock the appearance or talk shit about other WW veterans or your own grandfather.
This morning the Buckingham Palace made a statement about the engagement of Prince Edward, the youngest son of HM the Queen and The Duke of Edunburgh.
Edward proposed to Sophie with a delicate engagement ring featuring a two-carat oval diamond set in 18-karat gold. This engagement ring was made by Garrard & Co and is believed to worth an estimated £105,000.
It is known that the couple is to marry in June at St. George's Chapel of Windsor Castle
"We are the very best of friends and that’s essential but it also helps that we also love each other very much," the Prince told the press.
Who is Sophie?
Sophie Helen Rhys-Jones was born on January 20, 1965 in Oxford.
Sophie’s father runs an import-export business that sold automobile tires to Hungary, and her mother works as a part-time secretary.
Sophie attended West Kent College, a private girls’ day school, and a local secretarial college, she worked briefly in a bar and later as a press officer for Capital Radio and as a concierge at a winter sports resort in Switzerland. There she became romantically involved with an Australian ski instructor and followed him to Australia.
When that relationship ended, Rhys-Jones returned to London and began working for the public-relations company Maclaurin Communication and Media. In 1996, with business partner Murray Harkin, she set up a public-relations company, R-J H.
Today HM the Queen opened the new exhibition of History of the Monarchy in the United Kingdom

As a part of her South Africa tour, Princess Anne visited one of the local schools. The Princess talked about the needs of the school with the members of the administration.
She also presented children with some toys that they liked very much.
Princess Royal spends a significant amount of time visiting Save the Children’s projects, both overseas and in the UK. Most recently, she has travelled to South Africa. In addition to visiting teams around the world, Her Royal Highness regularly meets fundraisers and volunteers. She also attends and speaks at many of our special events.
Since 1970 (the year when Princess Anne became the President of Save the Children) the Princess Royal’s work with Save the Children has given her great insight into the needs of children worldwide.
Her Royal Highness says of her work:
“I am proud of my association with Save the Children, and I am honoured to succeed Her Majesty as its Patron. It is an organization that embodies a spirit of compassion, openness and excellence. Its values are an inspiration; its achievements, a source of hope for millions of children.”
Well, the other day I did a little remake of Elizabeth and I want to know your opinion about it. Which Lilibeth do you like more: the first or the second one? Please, let me know in the comments below
