GD: Top hyung was originally my friend. He was a neighborhood friend from intermediate. We became friends dancing and rapping in the neighborhood together and grew apart when I moved, but I contacted him again [about Big Bang]. Top hyung said “Awesome, that’s my dream”, and we made a demo CD together. He would make it and mail it to me, then I would see if it fit YG’s style. After going back and forth a couple of times like that, I took it to the President and he said he wanted to meet Top hyung. ( © )
TOP: Sometimes when I have a drink with GD we do feel great about how everything is going in our daily lives but lonely at the same time. Although there are things hard to handle at our age and things that we have missed out on, we also achieved just as much, which makes us think that we live in a dream world. Sometimes even we have trouble identifying whether we live in dream or reality. ( © )

Here's the thing
I love MCU, I love all the marvel movies and series. Marvel movies are my ultimate comfort movies. I spend hours watching the clips and the cast's interview. So when I say Marvel has really dumbed down audience's taste, I mean no disrespect to Marvel but our own ability to experience different genres.
Because otherwise why would people call a masterpiece like Dune boring and dull? I understand people's taste varies and I understand if your dislike for the film was something constructive. But most of the people on Twitter who are hating on the movie seems like pissed about the fact that it's not light enough or bright enough or action packed enough.
MCU is MCU for a reason. No other movies need to be like Marvel movies. We need to be able to appreciate every movie, every genre in their own merit and by that standard, Dune is a wonderfully made masterpiece.
I hope as audiences we become versatile in terms of our taste and can enjoy all kinds of movie from MCU to small indie movies. And if not, I hope we can at least respect the art that has been put out there even though it is not something we enjoy.

When you demand the celebrity you stan to speak out on whatever is the subject of the day, you’re being selfish point blank. We all know that it can be powerful for a celeb to use their platform for good, but if you are demanding them say something because YOU spend your TIME and MONEY on them then it’s not about the cause. It’s about how you feel. It’s about the validation and feelings YOU will get when someone YOU like does what YOU want. If you’re truly upset about the murder of an innocent man, then the last thing you should be thinking about is the fact that some actor you spend money on hasn’t posted a tweet yet. You serious? That’s what you’re concerned about??
When bad shit happens in the world, the last thing you should be concerned with is if the celeb you stan says anything. Absence of a social media post does not = absence of support. Ffs some celebs don’t even HAVE social media. Would you assume they don’t care about things too? Would you demand those celebs put out a press release to prove they care to please you? Cause you spend money on them?
Fan culture can be very toxic and no celeb should have to prove that they care about whatever issue just to please you. That’s when things look more like PR moves than genuine acts.
Bottom line, celebs are under no obligation to post anything just to please you. Celebs live lives and do good things outside of socia media and press releases.
