Being born a woman is an awful tragedy. Yes, my consuming desire to mingle with road crews, sailors and soldiers, bar room regulars—to be a part of a scene, anonymous, listening, recording—all is spoiled by the fact that I am a girl, a female always in danger of assault and battery. My consuming interest in men and their lives is often misconstrued as a desire to seduce them, or as an invitation to intimacy. Yet, God, I want to talk to everybody I can as deeply as I can. Advice For The Signs

Aries: You can’t hide in trauma forever. I know, it’s tempting. Calling your name out to you. Begging you to use it as an excuse to go back to every hold habit you tried so hard to kick. Eventually you have to stop hiding under covers and face what your world looks like now.

Introducing Atlas. The newest edition to our little family. He is a full-blood 4 1/2 month old German Shepherd. He comes from a line of very hard working individuals and he will continue to make his family proud by joining in the line of service. So thankful for the family that we crossed paths with that allowed us to to bring him into our home and start this journey together.
