Introducing Atlas. The newest edition to our little family. He is a full-blood 4 1/2 month old German Shepherd. He comes from a line of very hard working individuals and he will continue to make his family proud by joining in the line of service. So thankful for the family that we crossed paths with that allowed us to to bring him into our home and start this journey together.

Pride Month begins and I don’t want to not pay it homage, but we must remember there would be no pride without revolution. When I was younger, I was sexually assaulted and hurt by this guy I grew up with. I flinch at people's touch. I'm afraid that no one will ever love me because I get nervous when someone gets intimately close. I have scars on my thighs from cutting. I feel as though it would be difficult to love me.
