I just realized something.

We all know that SJM is heavily inspired by fairy tales and mythology.

In Crescent city Jesiba Roga (Bryce’s boss) is described as an extremely powerful witch who has a penchant for turning her enemies into animals.

She is inspired by or is Circe.
