im at chapter 20/27 of dracula rn and i love renfield so much omg

i would look him up but im so deathly afraid of being spoilered in any way

i like how he eats spiders and flies and vomited feathers once indicating he also ate his birds but he hasnt been doing that lately :(

id love for him to either turn out to be a vampire (it would lowkey make sense) or for him to become rational enough (or so it would seem) to join the vampire hunting gang

I do like jellycat bunnies (and my favorite plushie I own is the Walmart knock-off in my pfp) but it does bother me how a lot of companies do rabbit noses for the plushies? Most rabbit noses are just a little v-shaped slit like this

And some do have a little bit of coloration/fur texture difference that makes the nose more noticeable and have more of a distinct shape.

But like. Not like this.

These are cute and I do like them (and I do want to get rabbit plushies from these brands)! but if you end up looking at them too long, they stop registering as rabbits and become just a Creature. It’s slightly insidious.

It reminds me of like dog or cat noses with the color and texture- the hairless smooth flesh noses that they have. So it feels like a weird rabbit/dog hybrid or something to me.

Weirdly enough, while TY usually gives their rabbit plushies awful plastic pink noses they actually had them embroidered in the correct shape for their new beanie bellies.

Unfortunately the beanie bellies don’t look too cute in person with the weird almost human-baby proportions. They also gave them paw pads… which aren’t accurate. I try not to be pedantic about the head shape since they do every single plush regardless of head shape like this but… there’s more losses than wins here.

I do find it rlly funny that palm pals gets a lot of aspects right. Weird lil thang. I love you

A couple things

• His name is Tlaloc, the Tlaloque are his helpers

• He’s not satanic due to the fact that Satan was not part of their religion

• The argument that something that is the same because they look similar is false without added evidence. I could say that a lion and a horse are the same because they’re both four legged mammals but they’re very clearly different. Just because they’re both stepped and triangular doesn’t mean they’re the same thing
