When Purple Puma fans denounce Amethyst for breaking character, she decides the best course of action is to fake Purple Puma’s death. But when she’s later caught carelessly transforming back and forth into her wrestling alter ego, conspiracy theories develop and she learns a large chunk of her fanbase were members of a cult believing she was the reincarnation of an ancient Purple Puma deity.
