Between the constant references to Ocean goddess Lizzie from esmp1 and the weird water stuff that has been happening this season I'm starting to think It's just Lizzie trying to get in the server despite not being whitelisted.

so sad no one did any lore with real life or really took it seriously and like, i get why, it was hilarious and goofy and ridiculous but also it's not like that ever stopped anyone on the other seasons. And like. The ending really is quite poetic

Like Scott is just standing there on like 1 heart, not eating, just waiting for Cleo to finish him bc as she says he'd never kill her, and Cleo is laughing and fumbling for their sword but truly they don't want to kill him either and then! Just like a zombie assisted Scott in his win and got the final kill on Ren, after the first season where Scott and Cleo really allied properly (so ZombieCleo helped Scott win from the grave), now a zombie sneaks up on Scott and kills him, getting Cleo their win finally like. I know it was only april's fools, and I know no one is as obsessed with Cleo and Scott's dynamic as I am but guys guys it's so poetic, it's so good, where are the dramatic animatics? Please!

man there truly will never be anything like the experience of moon's big again. part of this is that the hermits don't really want to do that again (both for 'they didn't like doing the short season' reasons and for 'audience reaction to the storyline' reasons). part of this is that to some extent that kind of moment only works once. but like. the buildup man. the month of streams and videos. the creeping dread. the moon bunnies. and then the day everyone actually DROPPED their video. bdubs and his unreliable narrator moments. "did you get everything you needed". everything about it. i miss her (the moon crashing into hermitcraft)... i just want her back (the moon crashing into hermitcraft)...

Grian is a type of hybrid that, unlike normal hybrids who's hybrid half type is predetermined usally due to genetics even if they wernt born with their traits off the bat, his genetic code for what hybrid type he would be is blank so he appears to be a normal human

These types of hybrids, known as adaptive hybirds, instead stay dormant until an unknown time in the future that varies from person to person, upon when that happens their code will start to adapt based on environment, behavior, and possible other hybrid influence.

This process activated and started for Grian early on in season 6, and he was actually on track to become a fox hybrid due to his nature and behavior but when he took fondly to elytra and flying his code changed and avian dna took over fully and basically destoryed the fox dna after a period of time.

It finally locked in and finished at the end of season 6, but it wasnt until later in early season 7 he finally presented in a litteral bloody mess as his body chanaged rapidly and moved around/grew the new hybrid traits.

One of Keralis' many, many strange hobbies is playing bad matchmaker for his fellow hermits based entirely off speculating what their theoretical kids would look like. Highlights (lowlights?) include suggesting that xB and Beef should get together "to see whose beard shape wins", or that False and Tango should get together "to invent a new and blonder shade of blonde".

Giving a feather to someone means something different between Angels and Avians.

For Avians giving a feather to someone means their part of the flock, the size of the feather also has impotence as the larger the feather the more "important" you are so big feathers are reserved for romantic partners, shorter feathers are for familiar bonds.

Meanwhile, for Angels giving someone a feather means they're going to die most likely alone, the feather is both a passing present and a reminder that tho people may not be around someone is still there.

This caused a misunderstanding on Magic Mountain as Grian gave all of the mountaineers a feather to show that they were a flock, however, Skizz did not know of the difference between Angel and Avian feathers and started panicking that he was gonna perma die.

This went on for several months until he brought it up at a meeting and finally someone explained to him what Avian feathers mean.

Between Mumbo taking half of Grian’s soul in hermitcraft andScar taking the other half in double life, Grian is completely soulless.

hermits actually fly about other's bases alot just to check it out and get some inspiration. like a lot. and sometimes they are this 🤏 close to figure out what they wanna do with their build and catch tge motivation before it slips away. but if you, a hermit, are home and see a random mumbo approaching you would guess he'd come to You to talk. and sometimes it's not the case at all and chattering about will make you loose your thoughts and ideas.

soo. to not seem rude, they have a code word, that means "im like this close to actually finishing the project and I went to see your creations for inspiration please don't make me laugh I'd wanna stay and forget what I was thinking for my project. just pretend I'm not here". the code word is "inspo mode". it came about around season 5 but every time a new hermit joins they forget to inform them of it. so picture grian, getting himself mentally ready to talk to a hermit for the first time for them to just stare at his base and yell "inspo mode!!!!!". imagaine pearl standing there building, noticing a certain Keralis guy came about and getting ready for his shenanigans, but in return when she approaches him he flies away with a star struck smile on his face later messaging in the group chat the code

joel literally had to get used to such behavior so quickly and was the first ever newbie to ask in a meeting what it was all about. the hermits collectively face palmed when they realised they forgot to tell the baby hermits about their code word Again.

skizz uses the code but chats away anyway

pearl was once found in tangos redstone and used the code. tango felt more proud of his work this moment then any other moment when someone praised his skills

grian and scar used the code for malicious intent once when they were scooting around docs base

Staring contests are surprisingly common on Hermitcraft, and because of this they have a few rules that come with them.

First off, Keralis is banned, since his eyes can’t physically close and looking into his eyes for extended periods of time is a bad idea anyway.

Second, Etho isn’t banned, but he’s on thin ice. The Hermits are still trying to figure out if he can just go awhile without blinking, or if blinking is completely optional for him.

Third, Grian was previously banned but is now allowed to participate again. This has nothing to do with his ability to blink, but instead because he kept cheating by kicking his opponent. If he gets caught doing it again to anyone who isn’t Scar he’ll be banned again.

It isn’t a rule, but Wels can’t participate. It’s a little bit hard to have a staring contest when you’re a mannequin that doesn’t have eyes. He is very upset by this. Also, despite only having one organic eye, Doc can participate.

Once season 10 started Joe was almost temporarily banned from staring contests, since he was a muppet and his eyes were presumably made of plastic. But for staring contests he always covers his eyes with his hands whenever he would reasonably be blinking, so he is free to have as many staring contests as he wants.

Whenever Imp and Skizz have staring contests with each other, they somehow always end up tying.

I think most of the life series fandom know about the Crow Curse (Lizzie saving Jimmy from the Canary Curse in secret life), but I don't think it really counts as a curse seeing as it only happened once. what I propose is the Shadow Curse, which is where Lizzie's deaths are always overshadowed or otherwise "not about her".

Starting in Last Life, her first death was escaping Joel as the Boogeyman, about breaking his curse rather than it being her fault. Her second life goes a similar way, to Joel by the Boogey curse. Her next life goes in a trap that could have killed anyone, it didn't matter. All that mattered was that the Boogey was cured. Then we have her final death in Last Life by Bdubs, and it wasn't about her. It was about clearing his name and proving something to Etho. She was just a convenient life.

Her next series was Secret Life, where she is most known for breaking the Canary Curse. Not something she built, not a relationship to another player, but her sacrifice to the Watchers and freeing Jimmy. Her first death was barely noticed, not even due to a player but a skeleton. Her second was by Jimmy, who didn't even know who she was or why she was there. Then her last life was a failed red kill, she tried to kill Scott but failed. She took too long, and looked an enderman in the eye. What killed her wasn't Scott's revenge, or an avenging ally of his, it was just a silly mistake.

Then in Wild Life we see this pattern of deaths being insignificant or inpersonal continue. She was killed twice by Skizz to get back to being a Yellow name, and once again we see that she was just a source of lives for the other players. Killed by Jimmy to get back to yellow again, this time it was consensual but still about someone else. Killed by a vex next, but it was lost in all the chaos of that session, then killed on a trap that again, could have killed anyone. Then finally, her last life, finally done on purpose by another player-- but it still isn't about her. It's about the rivalry between Jimmy and Grian. She was just caught in the crossfire. We don't even know her last words. And why should we want to know? She wasn't the important one in that scene, she was just an extra. The bait to Grian's trap. She never served any other purpose.

All of these details make her forgotten. All of them point to another player, if there was a player to begin with. She was just stuck in the crossfire, always overshadowed by someone else. And that's her curse. She will never be in the limelight. She will never be at the center of a conflict. She will always be in the Shadows.

Just like her name. Just like her nature.

I've seen stuff about how Joel is the first Life Series winner to have won by focusing on family/allies which is just untrue.

Scott was the first one to do that in Last Life. Why do you think the finale happened the way it did? It was because they were all Allies and they were good allies, sure Ren and Martyn joined later but they had a great relationship and were good allies which is why nobody just started killing each other the moment Joel had died.

Infact I've noticed a lot of just people hating him or like demonizing him for double life when everyone involved in the Divorce Quartet was horrible (I say this in the most affectionate way I love the divorce Quartet and their whole messy dynamic) .

I've seen someone take his "I ran into Jimmy in a cave, and we ended up as Flower Husbands" said right in the beginning of Secret Life to Scar and Jimmy as negative, like he was saying it was a bad thing when he was literally just saying what happened!

He ran into Jimmy in a cave and boom they were married and if anybody thinks that Scott isn't happy about that they clearly never watch his POV.

He just gets hated on when he breaks a rule (Killing on green when Tango did that twice without anyone complaining) or his crazy achievements get forgotten (He was one of the two green names left on the server outran literally everyone trying to kill him and did an insane bucket clutch from the top of the Nosey neighbour's tower ON A CLIFF SIDE!!!!)

I'm sick of people misunderstanding his character and using it as an excuse to hate him.

okay so there’s two main languages. English and parkour.

parkour was the main one but it fell out of use when TEC and Seawatt showed up; seawatt was a nerd who studied English for fun (it was almost dead by this point) and decided to put it in everyone’s memories and that’s how it became so widespread.

parkour nowadays is only used very infrequently and in old books - that’s why the parkour book is in the chainmail library, as it hasn’t had access to the outside world for a while, and also explains why evbo has “been studying it” when presumably it should’ve been used widespread. This also explains the signs in the movie 1 house buying section

Hello, it's the Birthday Anon. Or less ambigiously, the "a year in parkour civilization is 360 days" anon. So, if birthdays exist, surely holidays do. I think this will turn into a full ass calendar but idc, I NEED this.

Firstly, 12 months, 30 days each month. Here's the names of the 12 months since I'm NOT going to use the regular calendar stuff of "January, February, March" and so on.

1-block, 2-block, 3-block, Vertical, Ladder, Stair, Fence, Chain, Ice, Neos, Glass and Crystal. (PS: ngl I forgot the parkour legends so I might've been calling a parkour champion by the wrong name)

That's my proposed calender but you can invent your own Parkour Civilization Month Names if needed.

Then, holidays. I don't have exact dates tbh but I have ideas:

Birthday of the old man.

Holidays dedicated to Parkour Legends.

Birthday of the Evil Champion.

Date of when X level of civilization is built assuming it had to built and was built at seperate times.

Holidays for specific Parkour Pro jobs. Like "House selling day" or something.

Holidays for specific items like totems of undying, brewing stands or whatever.

Since Esmp 2 is set 1000 years after esmp 1 this of course means that during the crossover the rift didn't connect two different universes but two version of the same universe but at different times and that esmp 2 happens 1000 years after Hermitcraft.
