Crazy how I hate to live yet don't wanna die
quick study tips now that I've almost finished my masters: follow study with me videos on youtube. download cold turkey website blocker on your laptop and liberate website blocker on your phone. chew gum while studying. play an instrument, knit/crochet, or move while on study breaks instead of going on your phone. always keep your study space clean. wear noise cancelling headphones with no music playing (that's my cue to focus). eat plenty always and bring snacks. know when to stop. learn when you focus best, and only plan to be able to work during those times- schedule errands / meetings / hobbies / rest during times when you know you won't be focused. schedule at least one full day per week where you have no responsibilities. if you're too tired to work, take a nap instead of sitting there numb and exhausted with dry eyes. you can skip class sometimes (trust me). know when "good enough" is enough (and when it's not).

study diary —
It wasn’t as gloomy as I had thought it would be today! I got a pretty early start in my studies.
I finished the reading and homework for one of my programming classes, and then started the reading for my other programming class. I also began taking notes from my textbook for the next chapter of physics.
In the morning, I go back to the office for the first time since classes started. I worked from home last week to ease back into my studies. I’m nervous (commuting is so unproductive), but I’ll also be meeting with my advisor to discuss time management for this semester.
I also get to start research tomorrow!!
I heard so many people talk about romanticizing your life and at first it was annoying but then I was eating an apple and it was red and sweet and I was making an effort to conciously and slowly enjoy my apple because that's what my therapist told me to try to be more in the moment and it was the best apple I ever ate. I ate it slow and really payed attention to the sweetness and the sourness and I was sitting outside under some trees and there was a breeze and I thought: This is a perfect moment, and one day I will wish I had the opportunity to sit here and conciously eat this apple and be happy. Anyways. Try making a big deal out of small things.

it's been one week of this challenge and i'm slowly starting to get my a grip on my life. sun-mon i started training again, which felt really good, even though i can still feel some injuries. i'm also making progress on history, currently studying ch. 3/7.
i once again took a good look of my personal study plan. with my current schedule, which i'm working very hard to keep up on, i'll be done with history by the end of the week. next week i'll finish my literature course, and i've started working on my next math course, even though there are still a couple trigonometry assignments i should get done, or just decide to not do them and turn the course in. i think i'll give myself this week for the deadline and turn it in with the history course.

I’m sitting in my sister’s bakery trying to finish my essay that was originally due tomorrow but then became due yesterday. Yeah. I’m feeling more and more confused by my essay the more time goes by and my attempts at identifying the structure that I think is there, somewhere, are going a bit so and so. Thankfully my sister is feeding me so that my energy levels stay up <3
