Habetrot basically threw Ritsuka under the bus for this.
Since your blog name mentions them I am legally obligated to ask you to share your Enkidu headcanons. Tell me about the cute clay enby. *Tell me.*
I am an enkidufanboy after all so here's some thoughts;
As a servant, Enkidu's base form is that of a clay monster and they are using their transformative abilities to keep up their humanoid form; if hit with a spell that would disable/limit their transform ability, they'd revert to their monstrous form.
Even if Gilgamesh refuses to meet them at some point, they have unwavering faith in him, so they have no worries about their friendship.
They love to be pushed to their limits during a fight and they rarely back down from a challenge; not because they're prideful but because they're curious to see what it would lead. Under the right circumstances, they'd probably even dismiss their Master to keep on fighting.
Enkidu likes humans, but doesn't see them as their kin, they will protect humanity and walk alongside it, but they see themselves outside of them (not too dissimilar from Qin Shi Huang). Thus they feel a bit more relieved to be around other non-humans and non-gods.
Enkidu is neutral towards Ishtar only during pride when she's being an ally. Outside of that, it's goddess hunting season.
made a mental illness chart. if anyone cares. snif.
fgo has got to be bleeding players at this point nobody actually starts fgo anymore unless they're insane. there's so much you missed and so much catchup to do and even more things they won't even allow you to catch up on and if you do end up sticking with it you're faced with a content release schedule that's slowed to an absolute crawl. just so sad to see it end up this way when it would've been so easy to suck less. not even be good just not suck enough to not be a complete nightmare to get into.

Artoria Caster, first and foremost, will always tell you and only exactly what she wants and needs.
She doesn’t put on a brave face with you.
She doesn’t lie about what she feels like knowing what her future is going to be.
With you the mask she wears is placed to the side, and her truest feelings and fears are laid bare.
Her fear of failing the people who truly need her.
Her fear of what will happen after she fulfills her purpose.
Her fear of the responsibility that will inevitably come to her.
And because of this, you are the only person in the world, including Artoria herself, who truly knows what makes Artoria, Artoria.
Her ability to continue onward, no matter how much she stumbles, now matter how much she falls.
That being said.
This girl needs adult supervision at all times so she doesn’t burn the house or world down trying to make something for you, and no Oberon doesn’t count.
She’s very affectionate in private, however PDA isn’t something she really knows how to do nor is it something she’s entirely comfortable with aside from a side hug or linking fingers briefly.
Not to mention that physical affection, while a big part of how she shows her love, isn’t her main way of doing it.
That, for better or for worse, goes to acts of service and gifts.
I say for better or for worse because she will go to the literal ends of time and space for you.
For example if you offhandedly mentioned something that would be nice to have that’s old or an artifact of some sort, Artoria will activate her british skills, and just *Yoink* that bitch to give it to you, regardless of what happened to get it.
Luckily, you know Oberon.
Unluckily, you know Oberon.
But time to get back on track.
Artoria might be a bit pessimistic at times but that’s something to be expected considering her life, but if you manage to pull her away to somewhere for a moment and give her a little peck it’ll for one, completely shut her down even if it was only on the cheek, and two give her a ton of energy that will cancel out her pessimism, even if only for the day.
Because of this you are the first person Artoria turns to whenever she wants to “Plan” something, which she only ever does when she’s nervous and scared.
That means you and her “Plan” things out a lot.
In summary, you are a guidepost and rock for Artoria, a haven where she can be herself without fear or concern for who might see her, and because of that she will go to extremes to try and pay you back for simply existing and being with her, and no matter what you say to her this is unlikely to change, so keep her close so you can keep an eye on her, keep her loved so you can try and fix the pain her life has caused her, and most importantly, tell her the truth, tell her your honest opinion, tell her that no matter what happens you’ll always be in her corner.

Sorry for how short it is, while in the middle of finishing this up a gas leak decided to happen, everything's fine I just have a massive headache and couldn't find the force of will to make it any longer, if any of you need me I'm going to be taking a nap.
Day 443: I got a really specific headcanon involving the chest drops and how they're retrieved. When an enemy is defeated and drops a chest, if a Servant is close to it they bring it back to Master's side, however if the chest is dropped and no one is close to it, Master runs across the field and runs back with it in hand.
Basically Master is doing this:
“This is the single greatest panel ever published in a Transformers comic.”
one of the greatest tragedies in life is that you will always be loved more than you will ever know. someone in class finds your presence inviting and warm, even if you’ve only ever exchanged a few words with them—maybe none at all. someone on the street loves your smile and it gets them down the next few streets. someone you used to be friends with still wishes to fondly call your name. someone you used to be friends with five years ago would give anything to be in the same room as you today. someone who regularly comes into work is disappointed when you aren’t there to brighten their day. someone missed you today. someone noticed you were gone. someone loves you when you’re there; someone loves you when you’re nowhere to be found at all. you think you have always disappeared when you’re no longer in the picture, but you’ve never left the frame.
— Carol Rifka Brunt in Tell The Wolves I'm Home
Im sorry but a good amount of servants genuinely confused at how Guda managed to befriend them despite all logic has me hella suspicious if they really are the “totally normal person” Nasu says they are. Like, Edmond is extremely confused about how you can even summon him and finds himself absolutely infatuated with you, to his own confusion. Meanwhile, inhuman(for servants) monsters like Izou and Summer BB are lowkey intimidated by Guda’s absolute lack of care, so far as to having Summer BBs Valentines have her trap Guda in another world because she wants to assure their absolute safety, where she herself doesnt understand why. Then theres the case with Foreigner Class servants, where the events of the Salem Singularity has Yog Sogoth almost desperate to posess Guda, especially since like, even if they command what is essentially an army of servants, Guda is still limited to 3 Command Seals and could be easily overrun. Then theres the fact that in part 2 we meet Jeancle, whose more or less a stand in for the Chaldea staff and he sees Guda as friendly but ultimately weird, which implies that Guda may not actually have good regular people skills but are great at speaking to Servants and other, specifically nonhuman beings, so them having been a “totally normal person” seems hella suspicious to me, even if they arent a good magus. Nasu give me the forbidden Guda lore
Guda is honestly such a chaotic force of nature.
Servants are fully defined by their legends and interpretations. Vlad is a good example, since more people know him as the monster Dracula over the ruler of Wallachia, and as a result manisfests more as a vampire because of it. Servants are temporary existances created from expectation to serve as tools. Servants, Mages and even the Throne all agree to this. Servants aren’t people, they can’t be people because they are Heroes, they can’t be free.
And Guda steps all over that.
Guda takes these echoes of people and helps them become complete, lets them step out of their legends and enjoy new things that they couldn’t because they were always constrained by their duty.
And honestly, that’s probably what Romani saw in them. Why Romani believed so much that Guda would be able to save the world. Because Guda is a simple, pure hearted person that is able to bring out the best in others. Someone able to unite servants not because the mission was so important, but because the servants found the Master important. You can even see this in the Solomon raid cutscenes, where almost all the servants came to help solely because they liked you enough to do it.
Guda humanizes their servants, frees them to be more than just legends, and that’s why they can help you save the world against Goetia. Because the future could only be made by human hands.
Masters and Servants Traits rub off onto each other
Totally forgot I’ve been farming bond on this guy for a long-ass time. At this rate Heracles will be at 10 soon, and how the actual hell am I supposed to interpret bond 10 for him? I barely got through this. Jesus cheeseballs I’ve fucked myself.
Quatre
Bond 1. “I’d rather not get involved in this Grand Order ordeal. I’m worthless in battle, I assure you.”
Bond 2. “I consider ’Mini-Waver’ is an insult. Being bronze in rarity does not make me unworthy of my True Name.”
Bond 3. “If you are going to force me to participate, I would prefer being allowed to make my own decisions.”
Bond 4. “I estimate that you are missing a number of brain cells. I wonder how you manage to tie your shoes without falling over yourself… But your dedication and reckless stupidity make you a worthy protagonist.”
Bond 5. “You aren’t as ill-equipped to work with me as I thought. Perhaps this partnership can be mutually-beneficial in the future.”
Bond 6. “Do you think I would have become a Heroic Spirit if I had succeeded as an actor or a poet instead of a weaver of children’s tales…? I said weaver not Waver! I still refuse to acknowledge that obnoxious title Chaldea has given me.”
Bond 7. “If I were to write the Tale of Chaldea, would I begin at the part where a mediocre magus is tasked with saving humanity? Or would I start where they show sympathy to devils and go weak in the knees for any pretty face?”
Bond 8. “Despite my eventual success in life, I suffered alone in poverty, never once reaching the dreams I held closest. I died clutching the undying light of hope that I desperately spread to others, wishing a better future for the children.”
Bond 9. “I never thought to publish my autobiography. The rest of the world would find no value in it. I found the exercise in writing it quite cathartic. It gave me the opportunity to explore my own values and assess them as I would another person. Since being summoned, I have thought about it more often.”
Bond 10. “I have been vilified as writer that thrived on sour endings, and you have accepted me. I have insulted you to your face in the name of brazen honesty, and you have encouraged me still. My uselessness and negativity have yet to drive you away. I could ask for no greater gift than the bond I am able to share with you. Thank you.”
Enkidu - 3rd sprite redesign
Once Gilgamesh was done it was a no brainer his pal had to follow, so here’s Enkidu’s own “more Sumerian-looking” redesigned sprite.

How Enkidu's character works in MY BRAIN:
(One second they look divine (next second they are a handful/curious feral kid (and then go murderous somehow even Gil is scared of them
Gudao: Do... you think Ou-sama works a little too hard sometimes?
Enkidu: *glances over to see Caster Gilgamesh nose-deep into six different books with heavy eye-bags and lots of energy drinks on the side*
Enkidu: On three, I think we need to knock him out for his own sake and mine.
Your headcanons are amazing! Could you please do some about fem!master bringing Enkidu, who's been with them since Orleans, to the Babylonia singularity and meeting CasGil? How would their relationship go? And how it would affect wise king's attitude towards the master? Maybe trio interactions (I'm sorry if it's too specific)
note: im so sorry for being late anon :< was preoccupied but i hope you like this one as well! it will turn angst though nyehehe. I deliberately left it to be read as platonic or romantic
♡ Once Enkidu receives the news of a Babylonia singularity, he would have mixed emotions as he would be going back to his homeland yet it isn't his own, although he wouldn't show it outwardly.
♡ His master, who has been close to Enkidu would notice it even at the start as she knows Enkidu, so she would ask him about it.
"It is nothing of concern, Master." Enkidu says with a smile, trying to reassure her, "I had simply had thoughts regarding my past, but I assure you, it would be fine."
♡ With that, his master turns back with a sigh, often trying to make Enkidu ease but until realizing she could trust him with his own feelings and lets it be until he wants to be open with her regarding the matter.
♡ On the day of the rayshift, the two bravely face it and sooner or later encounter Ishtar (and therefore bonking her abit) and Caster Gilgamesh yet Enkidu is quickly faced with a problem upon them entering the singularity.
"There is someone who is the same as me, Master."
♡ While neither of them had understood it at first, it was obvious when they had spotted a being using chains as a weapon as well as the general confusion of the citizens and Ishtar herself upon seeing Enkidu, mistaking him for Kingu, who was an enemy.
♡ The master and Enkidu himself tries to reassure everyone that they aren't enemies and demonstrate Enkidu's personality differences from the more battle-hungry Kingu.
♡ As for King Gil, his affections for his friend will not overrule the priorities he has which is - keeping Babylonia safe. However, he will entertain you more as a form of respect for his only friend.
♡ Because of this as well, Gilgamesh sticks by you and Enkidu's side, making excuses and bringing Siduri a headache. Whether if its pushing back monsters or helping the people do chores, Gilgamesh would use it.
♡ Battles would also be followed by a more grand victory celebrations as per Gilgamesh's orders. Wine and good food would be passed around alighting you and the others servants' will to fight - to help the people, with you, Gil and Enkidu always being the last ones left.
♡ It is likely that Gilgamesh would be more open to you as you bought his real bestfriend back. Kingu would be much more aggressive in killing, you, the female master as Enkidu's existence makes his life null.
♡ This results in much more harder fights, with the master being pushed to the brim as she seems people drop lifeless easily as if they never mattered. However with Enkidu and Gil supporting you, you gain your senses to be able to fight back and defeat tiamat.
especially after the events of olympus it is paramount that fgo players understand that they are not above the narrative, and the story’s antagonists will never be as cartoonish and one-dimensional as they might think they are. their motivations, their thoughts, and their goals will always be more complex than the most surface level reading, and often you will not know what they are right away. passing judgment upon them is stupid, the decisions they’ve made come from far more gray and far less lenient circumstances. it’s always been that way. you are not immune to making those same choices. that’s the point. from the earliest days of the fate series, way back during the original vn era, one of the most compelling and prevalent ideas within the story was you might have something in common with your worst enemy. you might have also walked down their path had your roles been reversed. you cannot say you could have objectively done better or worse simply because you have the benefit of hindsight and because your experiences were different. shit, ubw smacks you on the head with this by making its main protagonist and main antagonist the same fucking person.
this is especially evident with the crypters. everyone wants to brand them as insecure, jealous, holier-than-thou mass murderers. this is disproven as early as lostbelt 1. kadoc didn’t take part in the bleaching of the earth’s surface. he says explicitly that when he woke up from cryostasis, the world had already been bleached. he wasn’t truly jealous of you, he was taking out the trauma of being denied a purpose and then dying out on someone like him. had guda been in his position, they would’ve reacted the same. he cools off in lostbelt 2, which is why he is kinder and happy to see your gaze has regained some measure of resolve.
ophelia, akuta, and pepe also reinforce this. none of them took part of the bleaching, and they killed no one. the bleaching was all the alien god. the lostbelts were all the work of the alien god. the only thing here that matters is that the alien god chose wodime as their emissary, and the other crypters were expendable. kirschtaria did not accept this. he would not abandon his friends, his comrades, his family. the choice was to cooperate with the alien god or die. could you have seriously, in all honesty, chosen differently? could you, knowing the entire earth was doomed by a product of its history, honestly have decided to keel over and taken your loved ones down with you? could you look me in the eye with zero bullshit and zero hesitation and tell me to my face you wouldn’t have chosen to cooperate if it meant you had an opportunity to turn things around so none of those billions of deaths were for nothing and the world wouldn’t belong to the being behind that destruction?
the lostbelt competition was a foregone conclusion. everyone knew kirschtaria was going to win, because the contest was designed that way. the alien god only intended for kirschtaria to win, and kirschtaria knew this. which is why he used his connection to the crypters as leverage. the other lostbelts were never meant to survive, they were kirschtaria’s way of keeping the crypters out of the alien god’s watch. that’s why kadoc, pepe, and beryl weren’t killed by kirschtaria when their lostbelts went SNAFU. it is an immensely cruel thing to do to all those worlds and all those lives, yet would you have done differently? if the lives of your loved ones were at stake, if you were being surveilled at all times with a gun to your head ready to pull the trigger at the slightest disobedience, would you have been so reckless as to put the people you cared about in harm’s way? because that’s what kirschtaria’s position was. the alien god was ready to crush kirschtaria’s heart if he broke their contract, and tipping off the crypters that he intended to do so would’ve gotten them all killed.
ultimately, that’s what drives the conflict between chaldea and the crypters. the shared need to survive pitting them against each other. there is no guarantee chaldea can restore proper human history, and wodime could not take that chance when he had a plan of his own and the clear methods with which to accomplish it. a new world, a new humanity, free to make new mistakes and reach new heights, free from the grip of the gods, free from the grip of the systemic forces that plagued not just the lostbelts but proper human history itself.
and i need to stress that the story isn’t trying to justify the deaths (if we can even call them that, in all likelihood) of 7 billion people by trying to say “maybe wodime was right!” what the story is saying is that, if there was a staggering loss of life, what alternative would humanity have to even have hope of moving forward? through lostbelts 1 - 4, you may be helping these worlds die peacefully, but you are still letting them die over the chance that you might restore proper human history. your success is an uncertain inkling, yet you have no choice but to move forward and accrue suffering to make sure NONE of those deaths are in vain. you are not judged for it, because the story knows there is no right or wrong answer to this kind of conflict, and the same principle applies to the crypters.
need i remind you that olympus ends with people being crushed by buildings, abandoning all hope, quivering and perishing in absolute terror as the only world they’ve ever known crumbles around them and the only beings that could save them were killed by your hand and by your order because there was no other way out. it is a gruesome death, an unsightly death. and it is brought about by your actions, and it is a terrible burden. and it is the exact same burden carried by kirschtaria, because he was a member of team A tasked with safeguarding humanity, and he failed. he does not claim that proper human history is full of too many mistakes to salvage because he is above them. he claims so because he also made mistakes in his own limited existence and doesn’t want that for whatever humanity can still exist in the world he means to make.
and you know what? kirschtaria even understands what you’re doing. he is the only one who can. he cannot agree but he understands. which is why he never denies you the opportunity to prove yourself. he opposes you, challenges you, dares you. but he never denies you. he says “you think you can bring back proper human history? prove it. prove you have the conviction necessary to bear it and beat me with it.” and then you do. because he wanted you to, because he believed in you from the very start that you could do it if you set your mind to it because kirschtaria wodime for better or worse believes in mankind, and you do too.
so, tl;dr you and the crypters are the same do not be so arrogant as to pretend you are better than the story and you are the perfect blameless unbiased judge of everything ever because you look really stupid doing that

The Servants probably blame themselves when the protag doesn’t get out of a battle unscathed, huh
How about some hcs with Hans and Shakespeare having a master that's also writer.
Hamlet was the bane of my existence. End of story, literally.
Being writers themselves, Hans and Shakespeare are often found in Chaldea’s library and archive reading and studying written material from eras beyond their lifetimes.
One day, during their usual perusing, they stumbled upon you sitting quietly in a corner desk, pen and paper in hand. Of course, they cannot help but become curious about what you are writing.
You tried to hide your materials at first, after all, you were just a novice writer and now two of the most prolific and well-respected authors in the literary canon were now asking to read your manuscript. Having them read your writing would bring you nothing but unadulterated embarrassment at the difference in your abilities.
But after finally prying your current project away from your hands, rather than loosely skimming through the jumble of words, they immediately began discussing the thoughts and ideas you put into each sentence, giving suggestions as to how you could better convey your ideas.
Shakespeare, however tried to turn every single one of your projects, whether it be historical-fiction, romance, sci-fi, always tried to twist it into a bizarre tragedy.
Sure, the writing was beautiful and deeply symbolic, but you just could not see any reason for you to end a bildungsroman story with a grand, Stephen King-esque end…interesting enough, but not really what you had in mind…
Sometimes you ask them about their past works’ and give hypotheses as to why they wrote a character in a specific way, or why they used a specific setting.
When you asked Shakespeare about what his inspiration for writing Hamlet, and whether if Hamlet was truly mad, he just laughed and commented that sometimes analyzing too deeply answers nothing.
Just for fun, you, Shakespeare, and Hans sometimes writes stories of the servants in Chaldea.
You and Hans co-penned Gilgamesh’s New Clothes, a parody of his own work, and it was all fun and games until KoGil got his hands on the manuscript and carelessly showed it to his older counterparts.
Thus ensuing a pair of VERY angry Gilgamesh’s threatening to destroy Chaldea with Enuma Elish until you and Hans pitifully watched the manuscript burn in the incinerator.
Good thing you wrote an extra copy…right?
Hello! Can you come up with headcanons for Kingu (evil clay child from the Babylonia singularity (if you got there or watched the anime)) being summoned to Chaldea (so that's an au?) and developing a bond with master that eventually grows from caution to platonic (or even romantic) feelings? There's no content on Kingu, he definitely needs more love ~
I put half of it under a line because it gets long aff
For a moment Kingu is probably confused as fuck and hyper-panicking and ready to stab a bitch (instinctively, Ishtar).
He was created the Son of Tiamat during a Singularity, using Enkidu’s corpse. Were “Kingu” EVER summoned as a Servant, HE certainly wouldn't be the one summoned. In this HC, Kingu thinks he, Kingu from Babylonia Singularity, doesn’t exist as a Servant.
Jalter: first time, bitchface?
Then VOILA, he gets summoned by the shitty little human he met in the Singularity. You know, the one that tried to punch his face out and almost succeeded?
(fuck the anime, the Master canonically beats Goetia’s face in with Mash’s shield, they know how to break peoples’ teeth in)
Kingu as a Servant does remember the Singularity. Is high-key guilty about Siduri.
Kingu actually spends most of the time trailing after the Master. It starts out as being a sort of almost antagonistic (one-sided) relationship, where he makes scathing remarks, taunts them, tries to get a rise out of them, uses them to Avoid™ the Babylonia Servants, and looks down at Master in any way he can for being an Old Human.
He gets unsettled when the Master only smiles at him and hands him some pie.
Still grudgingly shoves the pie into his mouth.
Eventually, Kingu goes from antagonistic to neutral, relaxing around Master, to becoming increasingly fond of Master in his own way. Eases out on the biting words and doesn’t actually mean them anymore when he yells or snipes at Master.
Actually gets somewhat clingy to Master. Kinda like a cat. Kinda low-key tsundere and will probably let Ishtar take a shot at him before ever admitting he was fond of the Master.
Outwardly still looks like he disdains Master and scoffs at them a lot, but if anyone were to say something about Master he would just skewer them. How dare they? To the human who went up against him without flinching? Were they looking down on him?
shhh Kingu baby we know you care
Has an aneurysm whenever the Master does dumb stuff (which is a lot of times), because humans are so frighteningly fragile and holy shit you dumb human get down from that eldritch god altar right this instant or I will force you im not fucking joking-
stop randomly falling asleep and NOT WAKING UP
Reaches a realisation that he, as the only New Human, should take it upon himself to guide this dumb and weak Old Human and making sure they don’t die by tripping over a rock.
Kingu is a dumbass in human emotions like 95% of the Chaldea Servants. Takes him a while to realise “oh shit I care for this dumbass human” and freak the fuck out. Or might never realise it and keep thinking he’s just doing stuff because he wants to.
Kingu has no qualms about murdering humans and other such creatures if they piss him off, tbh. His low empathy makes him capable of cruelty, brutality and even painful deaths, and he knows this and doesn’t care.
At least, he SHOULDN’T care, but he subconsciously reigns in his brutality whenever he’s with his Master. Of course, he still rips apart through enemies and is scarily efficient as a Weapon but at least it isn’t as inhumane as in Babylonia.
Definitely is one of the Servants that advocates for the death of the entire population of mages from the Tower.
When their relationship gets close enough, the Master tells them of TIamat’s final moments. Kingu goes quiet and then thanks them for not raising their blade against his Mother. Kingu did love Tiamat, despite going against her at the end.
Cried a bit during Gilfest.
Enkidu is zen about Kingu and is pretty fond of him.
Might have to do with the fact that Ishtar has an aneurysm after seeing the two of them together.
.
*after hitting breaking point and snapped at both Gilgamesh*
Gudako: I scared them, didn’t I?
Enkidu: They’re terrified of you.
Gudako: *smiling* That makes me so happy.
