This short film is an experimental documentary in direct reference to one of LA’s most iconic city elements - Sixth street viaduct. A type of hybrid narrative, fusing both fiction + reality as a form of expression towards the emanating contemporary city. The historic 3,500 foot long bridge has graciously served Angelino’s for the last 84 years, yet its’ faith tainted early-life due to alkali-silica reaction, also known as concrete cancer - it’s scheduled to be closed and demolished February 2016. This multi-sensoirial video, was projected as a film installation in the under-tunnel of Sixth street bridge. The screening was for an exhibition granted by the City of Los Angeles – organized/hosted by LAforum and curated by Jai&Jai gallery. Its our pleasure to debut, the first and only film about/for the 6th street bridge.
