Okay So This Is Not An ‘official’ Metric By Any Scale But I Am Curious So I Just Bullshitted My Own

I went to a concert! This is my 3rd, but my first with under 200 people. There were 3 bands. The 2nd one told the ladies to do a mosh pit I was holding onto the bar, and got bumped into a little bit. I didn’t know how to properly get away so I just stayed there. There was also a running circle around I’ve only heard of the mosh pit. I had to get away because they were kinda unorganized, and kept getting closer when I got away. I was thinking about joining, but decided against it. A person gave me a compliment, and we talked for a tiny bit while the 2nd band took their stuff so Violent Vira could go. This was when I went back to the front because I wanted to see her, and stuff. Originally I wasn’t going to record, but I ended up getting some full songs anyways. I’m only gonna post the one clip that isn’t a full song, and I’ll just listen to the rest

It was so cool. I did a lot of jumping, singing, and screaming. Almost everyone was singing it was so fun. At the end something gross happened so I’ll put a read more for those who don’t want to read it

It was so hot due it being crowded, and I had a hoodie on so I got too hot. I fell, but someone helped me to the trash can. My favorite song “I don’t care” was going to play too! I managed to bring my stuff over to the trash can, and sat down. I was pretty dizzy, and ended up puking. The person got me a water while the guards also brought me some paper towels. I was ok after that, and went outside. My mom came, and I listened to more songs. It was awesome! I can’t wait to go to another concert maybe I will go into the mosh pit next time. I also will make sure not to wear a bunch of layers, and I will wear tennis shoes instead of platforms

It's an accordion section/menu! It's useful in web design to hide information that may be overwhelming under specific headers so people can only see what they need.

Here I'm using it for people who need the content warnings to be able to check, but for those who don't need them and don't want to be spoiled to just move right past without accidentally reading anything.

It's still the user's responsibility to click the arrow and read things as they need! But it is all warned. (And, yes, the all encompassing issues are already a tag on the fic, I'm just providing additonal warnings per chapter.)

48hr tumblr blackout proposal

tumblr mobile has seadily become near unusable these past few updates. not just from a user experience perspective (which is important enough in itself) but also from an accessibility perspective.

examples include the new way the image viewer works (if you can call it "working"), the tumblr live button replacing the profile button, and that newly created blogs will be forced to have their main dashboard tab be the 'for you' page.

the demands of the protest would be along the lines of:

reverse the recent image viewer update

scrap the new users 'for you' page default setting

let us turn off tumblr live indefinitely

increase efforts against spam / porn bots

make reporting abuse and hate speech as easy as reporting as reporting spam

let us go nuts show nuts again... for real this time

commit to improving usability and accessibility, and listening to users!

to protest against these usability issues, and inspired by the recent reddit blackout, i propose a 48 hour blackout (where you don't use tumblr at all). preferably of both mobile and web (since web has problems too) but mobile is the focus here.

I suggest the 48 hours between the 30th of June to the end of the 1st of July.

this marks the end of pride month (for the "queerest place on the internet") and the start of disability month (since accessibility is a massive issue here).
