The trailer says that Edwin's factory also doubled as a warehouse, Meaning that the company also threw things for him to keep in here which explains why a Proto Music Man is here and something that SEEMS like a Proto funtime animatronic (Dollie) is here aswell which again, why are we going after the Devil's living breathing contraption ?

Yes, I am absolutely putting it on the table that he is the person behind these attempts. He is still the owner of the company at this time, he was the one in charge of the business and of course he would be inhumane enough to waste people's lives like this.

Henry would absolutely NOT be the person who would approve of that sort of thing and William would absolutely BE the person who would approve of that sort of thing.

The company wasn't THIS comically evil from the start, We know they only start to get that way after Henry goes away and Afton throws shit on the fan. It would be completely random and contradictory for them to always be like this, Only if it's someone specific who is secretly setting this up.
