oh my god renee rapp
Holds your hand. You listen to me. By god we are going to stay silly
You ever just get so happy b/c your friend(s) make you feel so secure you just simply just cannot contain yourself? Then you project all of that through gifts, trinkets, and acts of service? Sometimes even just demanding a hangout b/c you want to bask in their presence so badly?
Like, you bring me so much joy I have to pause everything I'm doing in life just to appreciate your existence. I have to drop my phone mid-text just to kick my feet and giggle 'cause talking to you makes my day. Thank you for that. You really don't know how much that means to me. Please, take this tiny purple dinosaur as a token of my appreciation for all that you've done.
You want help with homework? Done. You want to yap together about theories we have from a series? Absolutely. You want us to play a horror game together? Of course. You want some help with baking? We can figure it out together. You want me to help you film a youtube video? I'll be there without a second thought.
AAAAAAA FRIENDSHIPS ARE AMAZING.
I LOVE MAKING FRIENDS I LOVE TALKING TO PEOPLE I LOVE HUMANS I LOVE FRIENDSHIP I LOVE CONVERSAIONS
"when i was your age, i was working three jobs to help support my family" and "when i was in college i was sleeping on a mattress on the floor and living off of soup"
YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE HAD TO DO THAT. NO ONE SHOULD HAVE TO DO THAT. I DON'T KNOW HOW TO EXPLAIN TO YOU THAT THIS ISN'T A CHARACTER-BUILDING LESSON, IT'S JUST BAD

Self regulating is good. That's an useful thing to know.
But honestly, emotional regulation is way more efficient and long term lasting when it consists of piling up like Wild Things, taking care of each other and talking with friends.
cause of death: lack of attention
Be clingy with me , always text me, send me selfies, tell me about your day. I love it
