i'm obsessed with the antarctic and one thing i love about it is, you guessed it: penguins! i love penguins they're so goofy and for what like especially king penguins i want to adopt a penguin and call it monty just thought i would share some penguin love today

The reason shark attacks are always only ever one bite is because sharks don't like the taste of humans. Sharks have terrible vision and so they will often bite humans thinking they are sea turtles but then realise aren't and spit them back out like “bleugh, this isn't what i ordered’’ hence why most people survive shark attacks with only a limb missing.

I’m disappointed that in “it takes you away” (series 9 ep. 11) everyone’s dead wives show up and yet River Song doesn’t make an appearance because that would have been so funny and also so heart wrenching.

I think would add a lot to the plot because it would make the doctor’s decision to stay in the solitract make a lot more sense and make her eventually leaving it even sadder.

Also, it would be really funny with the doctor simultaneously trying to explain to the group that River is her deceased wife from when she was a man whilst trying to explain to River that she is a woman now. It would be even better if River was like “eh, doesn’t bother me”.

Hugh Laurie as Dr. House is so weird to me because if you watch other things with him in it he is often the fairly dumb but endlessly positive character as opposed to another character who is more cynical but smarter (a very common duo to have in British comedy) and the way his character acts in House is such a direct contrast that it was honestly quite shocking for me
