Daughter - Youth: I know that her songs are rather depressing, but I listened to her for years and I loved to hear her in games like Life is Strange: Before the Storm. This song perfectly sums up the unexplainable feeling of emptiness. Where we find solace in memories because we know we destroy ourselves and others because we can’t find an answer even though everything we want is to be loved.
Billie Eilish - Happier than ever: also a very good song and describes perfectly how you feel when you’re frustrated with someone you thought you’d love, and maybe actually loved once. The break up and the feeling of finally being free and be you.
Bring me the Horizon - Throne: being thrown into bad crowds, hated and bullied only to get shaped to the person you are today. I love this song because I can relate to it. I was never bullied but emotionally manipulated and abused by people that should’ve protected me. I’m happy, they’re not - that’s what matters.
