It’s all fun and games until the film producer who murdered you in a past life shows up at your awards party and ruins your giant group dance number

The most horribly treated character in Indian Cinema is probably the hero's sister. She gets molested, kidnapped, used as bait, raped, gangraped, humiliated, at times publicly, beaten, tortured by her in-laws, burnt for dowry, murdered by her husband and so on. All this just to give the hero a tragic back story and justify his penchant for violence.

Everytime heroine is kidnapped or molested, hero would always reach there in the nick of the time, but he's always too late or helpless to save his sister.

And even if she escapes all these atrocities in rare cases, there must be atleast one scene where hero must protect her 'ijjat' from goons. Afterall, that's the only way it can be proved that he is a good brother, a good man, the perfect hero. And the only way brother-sister relationship can be portrayed on screen.

हम सबको एक रोज़ एक दूसरे के लिए कविता लिखनी चाहिए।

डाकघर जाकर प्रेमपत्रों की मदद करनी चाहिए।

होस्टल की किसी मेज पर अकेले बैठे व्यक्ति को टोक कर उससे बातें करनी चाहिए।

मिलने की जगह तलाशते दो लोगों के लिए धरती पर पाँव भर ज़मीन ही सही पर अलग नाम कर देनी चाहिए।

किसी विद्रोह में हक के लिए जलाई गई एक आग- गाँव में बुझते चूल्हों में जिंदा होनी चाहिए।

हमारे बच्चे मासूम हैं अभी सब बचे न बचे मुल्क में उनके लिए उम्मीद बचनी चाहिए।
