93 days until i see mcr + it's gerard way's birthday! wearing my cheerard pin today in celebration!

yk what fuck it 99 days unti i see mcr live!!! losing my mind slowly but surely.

i think the drum beat frank played might have been the outro to "welcome to the black parade"?? but that's just how I heard it. the little marching snare with a bass hit in the last few moments of the song. that might just be the band kid in me telling me that (being a drum major bleeds into my everyday life, unfortunately)

also yes there's totally something else except the tour that they're trying to go for!! i get having a story for the tour itself, but (especially with all the crazy font stuff- like 10 fonts, i think?) this is a lot a lot a lot for only nine shows. unless they're screwing around with us and just really like this dog. xD

I don’t get what Mcrs doin, like why are they advertising this tour so much?? It’s not like it’s the first reunion tour and I swear even that one didn’t have as much run up to it (though maybe we’re all starved of Mcr content and overthinking everything)

I swear down there going to be more than just this US tour cos there’s so much effort and details going in to the promotion videos that it would just all be a waste for like 9 tour dates? (Didn’t quote me on this) wether this “more” will be a whole album or a song or even a worldwide tour I honestly couldn’t care less I just miss em

ALSO?? the fact they’re back in the studio and have been for a while?? How much practice do they need before the shows?? And “disenchanted tune” ??? Why not just call it disenchanted- AND the clip or Frank playing the drums?? He’s never played drums for Mcr and I don’t recognise the thing he played so either it’s just a practice beat or something new I don’t know

One theory I saw that I really like is that they’ll play one new song on each tour date and release the whole album at the end of the tours which would be rad as hell although I’m not too sure what direction the music would be going in. Gerard wanted to follow danger days kind of style (pretty obvious from their solo stuff) but Frank kinda stuck with the black parade so I really wonder what they’re gonna come up with for mcr5 (it will happen)

Another cool idea is that they’ll release it on 5/5/25 at 5:55 but i feel like that’s too on the nose for them cos foundations of decay was released on some random Tuesday

Anyhow I require mcr5 and also it’s be rad if they came to the uk I’ve never been able to see them live (please please please please please please please please)

ok but listen the black parade died in 2008 and will's last performance with the tapeworms before the slouching towards bethlehem tour was in 2018 and thats 10 years apart

both mcr and will wood have 4 albums that everyone talks about (bullets, revenge, the black parade, danger days / eial, self-ish, the normal album (notice how both third albums are titled THE something. and happen to be the best ones in my honest opinion. thats right), icimi), 1 album that people mention less cus they dont see it as part of the big 4 (conventional weapons / camp here and there), and 2 live albums from very different eras (1 of which is a part of/associated with a documentary abt them (the real will wood & life on the murder scene)) which means to complete the prophecy they both need a 5TH album

which leads us to a conclusion that mcr5 is REAL and new will wood album in 2025 is REAL and its gonna be a COLLAB and Gerard Way and Will Wood are gonna KISS on stage while holding a pride flag and its gonna be beautiful and everyone will cry

I unfortunately do not have any friends to go with, however. I could go by myself but that sounds kinda dangerous and terrifying. I need to go tho. I just need someone to go with 😭.
