They do not like the ponytails. Tried to chop them off but they came back the next time Four split. Absolutely devours in those heels though.

Ben 10 and Danny Phantom should also be honorary magical girls
Reasons:
- They have transformation scenes
- They are teenagers (like the ones I'm familiar with)
- They have/had a weekly villain format of episodes
- They got dark at certain points (I'm not sure about most magical animes but I know that Madoka is definitely dark)

A light hung over head, every other inch of his surroundings was cloaked in pitch black. Nothing but the single, glass? Rose layed in his grip. The grit and dirt of the ground lingered on his skin, but no where else. lime green and similar shades of clear glass held his body in the endless void he traveled through.
His clothes felt lighter, not that they dissipated just that the fabric had change, devolved and re-adjust to fit that of a newly bloomed rose.
Or it should have, instead it looked like what every high school frat boy wish they adorned. Same jacket, green with an even white line from around the collar down to the sleeves, sweat pants that where similar. And a red shirt underneath.
His face was what had changed the most, a read and green gas mask in the shape of a snarling monster mouth, spike like thorns around the edges. Battle paint, adjacent to that of a fan at a rugby match lacing his eyes. Finally his hair a fiery red and white.
Tw: swearing, talk of abandonment.
Neil’s transformation:
Being an adult sucked, it wasn’t like high school where your parents waited on you hand and foot or college were you can have everything paid for you.
“I actually have to go out and work?!” Neil whined down the phone line.
“I know it must be sooooo difficult for you” the voice mocked.
“Riley! No sarcasm this is actually horrible!” He shook his head aggressively, narrowly dodging a lamppost. He grimaced as people shot him looks “me and my mates we’re going out tonight but I’m broke and apparently that means I’m out the group!” There was silence from the other line, Neil grew nervous.
“Maybe….maybe it’s for the best…”
“What do you mean ‘for the best’!” He did air quotes “my friends just ditch the bro code and you just want me to move on!?” He spat, throwing his phone on the floor with the sound of splintering glass. “Oh for fuck sake!”
Rain poured in buckets, Neil scrambled around in the dark, the mud of the woodland floor coating him. “C’mon! C’mon we’re the hell is it!” Turns out your parents aren’t entitled to buy you a new phone every time you break the old one “C’mon!” His hand felt it, for a brief moment. His fingers brushed against the cracked glass again, gripping it tightly he kissed the dirty thing. “Ple! Pfft! Mud!” He wiped his mouth only dragging more muck across his face. Something pricked his fingers, a rose, blood dripped down it’s dimly lit stem.
Suddenly light flooded him.
Black.

Looks like we got another Precure birthday! This time, let's take a nose dive into the world of Hirogaru Sky! Pretty Cure and soar in the sky with the little bird who's always doing his best! Everyone, say happy birthday to Tsubasa Yuungai aka Cure Wing from Hirogaru Sky! Pretty Cure~!
Like Sora Harewataru, Tsubasa Yuunagi originates from Skyland, a fictional city within the Hirogaru Sky! Pretty Cure universe. Tsubasa specifically hails from the Puni Bird Tribe and is actually a bird himself! He's actually been studying aerodynamics in the human world so he can learn how to fly better and has been hiding in the background for a while! That was until the infant princess named Ellee-chan ran into a bit of trouble, which worried Tsubasa so he went in to save her! That was when he was caught by Sora and had to spill the beans about what he was doing here....when the enemies attempt to kidnap Ellee-chan, Tsubasa's desperate attempts to save her awaken his power, allowing him to transform into Cure Wing!
Personality wise, Tsubasa is a hard working kid with a heart of gold! He's always doing his best to look out for his friends and deeply cares about them! Despite this, Tsubasa wants to become a cool adult and learn how to fly, so he's always studying aerodynamics and attempting to become a cool and reliable adult in his own way! Although he struggles to express his feelings and doesn't like to be treated like a kid, Tsubasa does his best to become a reliable knight to protect Princess Ellee and always trusts his friends!
Tsubasa is voiced by Ayumu Murase who's very fluent in English! He's known for voicing Venti from Genshin Impact, Don Murasame from Avataro Sentai Donbrothers, Setanta from Fate/Grand Order, Cecil from Rune Factory 5, Yuugo Kamishiro from Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth and it's DLC Hacker's Memory, Sayo Samonji from Touken Ranbu, young Shotarou Hidari from Fuuto Tantei: Portrait of Kamen Rider Skull, Yeon Hajun from Paradox Live, Tori Himemiya from Ensamble Stars, and so much more!
OUR FIRST BOY CURE THAT'S PART OF THE MAIN TEAM HELL YEAH HERE WE GOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! I LOVE TSUBASA SO MUCH-! The entire cast of Hirogaru is crazy (lovingly) so thankfully, Tsubasa is one of the "sane" members (if you wanna say that cause I do uwu). He's a really good boy who's always doing his best for the people around him and we ALL love him for it!! Today was just another quiet day within Nijigaoka Yoko's household.
Birds are singing, flowers are blooming.
On days like this, Yuunagi Tsubasa would take a break and peacefully read some books out on the porch of Yoko's household. With a glass of water in hand, Tsubasa flipped through the pages of the book, absorbing as much information as he could into his mind while the spring sun rays shimmered throughout the sky. The cool breeze blew against his skin as Tsubasa took a deep breath, leaning back into his chair and closing his eyes. "Ah..." He muttered. "This feels nice..."
"Aaaand boom~!"
Tsubasa opened his eyes, glancing to a corner as he spotted you, throwing some bright orange fabric into the air, then immediately crash down. As he gently closed the book, Tsubasa placed the book onto the table and dashed towards you. "(Y/N)!"
You gasped as you caught the orange fabric back into your hands. "Hey Tsubasa! What's up?"
Tsubasa tilted his head in confusion. "What are you doing...?"
"I'm helping Ageha-san plan a fun event for the kids!" You explained with a bright smile. "Sooo....I made some kites!" You held up the bright orange fabric to him, displaying it in all of its glory. To his embarrassment...the kite looked EXACTLY like his bird form, yet modified to be a kite.
"Is that..." Tsubasa muttered, hoping he was dreaming.
"Yep, it's you~!" You playfully stuck your tongue out. "I thought it'd be cute, you know~? But I can't get it to fly properly...I thought I made it right..."
Tsubasa gently took the kite into his hands. "Well...the wind isn't supposed to get stronger till this evening..."
"Crap..." You muttered. "This was the first kite I made too and it looks like crap..."
Tsubasa softly chuckled as he analyzed the seams, gently running his fingers across the hastily made stitches onto the paper and fabric. "Well...would you like to remake it? I can help if you'd like."
Your eyes shimmered like the burning sun. "Then be my model so I can make it better~!"
"...huh?!"

"I thought I'd find you here!"
Your eyes widened as you saw the Chosen Child of Courage slowly walk up to you with a soft smile on his face. "Taichi.."
"Hey...." his enthusiasm from before had disappeared as he stepped towards you. "Do you...." he glanced at the spot on the bench next to you. "Mind if I sit there...?"
"I don't mind," you spoke as Yagami Taichi took the spot next to you, his glances shifting towards you and the ground while the sounds of nature filled in the gaps of silence.
"S-So...." Taichi briefly spoke, scratching the back of his head.
"Yeah?"
"Is...." Taichi's words faltered as he took a deep breath, attempting to make eye contact with you. "Are...are you okay?"
You softly nodded. "I'll be fine. I've dealt with worse."
Taichi winced as his hands clenched into a fist. "A-are you sure...? I saw what those guys did to you and-"
"Taichi," you spoke with a soft smile. "I'll...I'll be fine."
"But it's not right..." Taichi sighed. "You don't deserve to deal with that harassment...it's just...rude..."
"They're not gonna stop. Even when I keep telling the adults, they still won't stop."
"Then I'll do what I can to protect you from them-"
Your eyes widened as you finally glanced at him. "....huh?"
Taichi softly smacked his fist against his chest. "I'll protect you from them! After all, that's what friends are for. Friends are there to help each other when they're down."
"Taichi..." you could feel your eyes water as Taichi extended his hand to you. "Thank you.."
"Anytime, (Y/N). I'll do my best to help you.."
Hana Nono/Cure Yell
"ACK!"
You quickly turned to the source of the scream, only to find...wait, is that-
"Hana?!" you quickly ran towards the girl that had fallen out of the nearby bush, dragging her out of the twigs and onto one of the nearby benches. Nono Hana let out an awkward chuckle as you attempted to brush off as much debris from her uniform as you could. "Hana, are you okay...?"
Hana playfully stuck her tongue. "Yeah, never better! But..." Hana paused, her eyes softening. "Are...are you okay?"
You immediately gave her a small nod. "Yeah, I'm fine but what about you? The twigs didn't scratch you, did they?"
"I'm fine~!" Hana fiercely nodded, quickly standing up with her arms at her sides like she were some sort of super hero. "See?" Hana giggled, performing as many dramatic poses that she could think of in an attempt to show off her body. "Not a single scratch!" Hana quickly glanced at her biceps, then down at her thighs. "Yep, no scratches at all!"
As Hana continued to check her body for any cuts, you couldn't hold back your fit of laughter at the many weird poses she made. "Hana!!!! What are you even doing?! I get it, you can stop now!"
Hana's face lit up as she sat next to you once more. "Good, you're smiling again!"
"So what, you planned this?" you asked her with a snarky tone.
"Uhhhh....kinda-!" Hana nodded once more. "I saw you run over here after those guys kept bullying you, so....I um...kinda followed you...a-and I thought I saw you cry so I thought I should do something to help you smile and so I hid in the bush and was thinking about what to do but then I tripped on a branch and fell and-" Hana continued to ramble on and on as you watched her face become more flustered by the second. As she finally stopped, Hana sheepishly whimpered. "Sorry for spying on you.."
"It's alright.." you softly sighed, embracing her into a hug. "I'm just glad you came to comfort me..."
Hana sniffled as she returned the hug. "(Y/N)...are you sure you're okay...? Are you sure you don't wanna talk about it..?"
"I'll be fine, Hana..cause I have you with me-!"
For the next few minutes, the entire world could hear Hana's sobs of joy.
