I know literally no one else is excited 4 this but this damn article saying aaron tveit AND jojo levesque r coming back 2 moulin rouge omgomgomg??????,??, if there is no bootleg of that im gonna b PISSED
I actually just watched this scene yesterday! I haven't seen the play so I'm going off the movie. My opinion is option A. Before Christian starts singing, he is reciting the lyrics which means that he didn't make it up on the spot. Now, I don't think he was necessarily prepared to start singing. That part was spontaneous. Otherwise, he would have began by singing instead of spoken word. What do you guys think?
okay real talk do we think when christian performs your song for satine is it a) the poem/song he had prepared to audition for her or b) he was so inspired by seeing her that he abandoned the previously prepared material and came up with this on the spot

Costumes of Moulin Rouge! The Musical
Costume Designer Catherine Zuber, who has been nominated 15 times for a Tony Award (and has won 8 of them, including her nomination for Moulin Rouge!) created about 300 costumes for the spectacular musical.
The artisans at Parsonâs Costumes in NYC have been known to create 793 unique pieces for the show by translating Zuberâs illustrations.
Although rooted in turn of the century Belle Ăpoque fashion, the designs embrace contemporary influences, making concessions for a modern score and choreography.
From the colourful Can-Can skirts worn by the dance ensemble, Satine's crystallized corset, and the hand-painted costumes inspired by the artwork of Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, every piece is truly a labour of love.
