So I just watched TÁR tonight and I'm SO SO obsessed and overwhelmed and going through A LOT right now because honestly?! This movie is a masterpiece of cinematography and I enjoyed every second immensely which is a huge achievement for a 2h 39 min long movie but this one was not one second too long! Honestly, I could have watched 2 more hours of Cate Blanchett acting like this. Her acting was PEAK PERFORMANCE, it was so vivid and authentic and nuanced and simply brilliant. My eyes were glued to the screen and I was hooked from minute one. Cate Blanchett really pulled this one of; the film is worth the watch in itself, but Cate Blanchett is what made it truly outstanding and remarkable. I can't think of any other actress that whould have been able to do this the way Cate did. I'm in awe. Sorry for fangirling but trust me, you should watch this one!

he holds you with one hand on the back of your neck while yall stand and talk to maria, and maybe sometimes he squeezes just slightly when you say something he likes (i like to think he has a competence kink and when talk him up about some task or job he did, it makes him stand a bit taller) and it adds a warm pressure down your spine that leaves you tingling.

he steers you out of the way of a drunk man, and leads you through a small crowd of people in the tipsy bison looking for tommy. and you're relaxed, trusting him and allowing him to guide you. he loves this quiet soft control you give him.

when he wants your attention on patrol, he'll grasp the back of your neck and angle your head out towards where he wants you to look. or when you swing down from your horse and stand next to him, listening to his directions to your group on what the plan is, he grips your neck firmly, urging you to listen.

his hand rests on your neck walking through town and maybe some people give odd looks, but you're a little bit obsessed with his quiet dominance. the way he casually shows that you're his, that you trust him explicitly. and maybe they hear the noises you make at night when he's really taking ownership of you, but oh well.

you love it especially when he has his hand gripping the back of your neck, shoving your head into a pillow while he's balls deep and all of your senses are filled with nothing but him. or, behind the tipsy bison after a few glasses have him feeling warm and he's got his large hand wrapped around the front of your throat this time while he fucks you rough and fast and telling you just how much he loves that you're his girl
