I had the most amazing experience at Star Wars Celebration today! As I was walking by the Her Universe booth Ashley Eckstein saw me and called me over for a photo with my friend!!!!!!

I’m still reeling

I finished my cloak for my Epilogue Ahsoka in time for Sunday of MCM London. I’m pretty happy with how it turned out, I’ve just got to tweak a few things for the clasps. I also got to take my crochet lothcat, Ashla-Morai, made by @pomrania (commissioned by @justdwai) out to her first convention. She was a huge hit!

Inktober - Day 12

What do you mean this isn’t how Star Wars Rebels ended? Have some Kanera with Ezra and a derpy Lothcat.

Also I’m totally not crying over season 4 as I watch it again!

Calling all Rebels Fans

So now that Rebels has come to an end, I have decided to make a tribute video to this fantastic show. However, I don’t want to just include clips from the show; I want to include our appreciation in it as well. A part of the reason I love this show so much is because of the fans, so this is where I turn to you guys. 

I’m looking for videos, photos, or anything like that of you or your friends with any members of the cast and crew of Rebels. It could also be pictures and videos/pics of your Rebels cosplays, art, writing, anything really, as long as you are showing your love for Rebels. 

A few rules though: please don’t submit something to me that isn’t yours unless you have permission to do so, and please don’t submit anything NSFW. Your content can be submitted to me by emailing it to thanksfiloni@gmail.com

Please make sure you include your name (as you would like it to appear in a list of contributors) and the content you’re submitting. Videos must sent be in .avi or .mpeg format whilst pictures should be .jpg or .png. Also please keep the videos at 30 seconds or under.  If the file is too big to email, upload them to dropbox or google drive and send me a shareable link. 

Also, please share this post around! I would like to get as many people involved in this as possible, so that we can show the world just how much we love Star Wars Rebels.

One of the things that always brings me back to this show is how unexpected things are. To quote Ahsoka here “just when you think you understand the force, you find out how little you actually know.” 

A bit late on this one, but Merry Christmas everyone! For those of you who don’t celebrate, hope you are enjoying the holidays you celebrate (or if you don’t at all hope you’re enjoying your winter!)

One of the things that has stuck with me so far with season 4 is how powerful the empire is. They pose a credible threat to the Ghost Crew and it genuinely makes the plot more interesting (and more terrifying). Seriously though we’re gonna need a lot of strength/power to get us through this hiatus.

Honestly, Kanan and Hera are my favourite relationship in the Star Wars universe and I’m SO happy they became canon! Such a well-developed relationship for such a well-developed show. <3

Thank You for Lothcats (and Lothwolves)

Something a little more lighthearted for this week because I’m in love with all the Lothcats that featured in these eps (I def would be a crazy lothcat lady in the star wars universe). Anyway have some Zeb with a bunch of Lothcats and a Lothwolf. There’s something special about the lothcats (reblog with tags if you can figure it out!)

Thank you for giving us a chance to make our own choices.

“It’s not whether or not we fight, it’s how we choose to.” This episode was all about choices so I figured that I’d draw those who’ve made some pretty big choices throughout the show and were featured in the latest episodes (well Titus really just made it in b/c I needed another character to balance the pic, but he was funny in the ep so I felt I should include him :P). I also love the way that Dave Filoni creates choices for us fans. He often makes us question what is right vs. wrong on the show, and he’s given us complex characters that reflect this, which is part of the reason I love the show so much! 

(I could go on in character analysis for each character here, as well as some of my other favs, about how their choices impact the show, but I’ll save that for another post :p)

Bit of a bonus coz this was supposed to be the inktober for today but I decided to turn it into a pencil sketch instead. This scene really stuck with me from the latest episodes so I decided to draw it.

This weeks prompt is…. CHOICES! Without spoiling for those of you who’ve seen it, these two episodes seemed to be a lot about what was the ‘right choice’ so choices seemed appropriate.

This is the first in my series of thank yous to Dave Filoni for Star Wars Rebels since it’s on its final season. The prompt I gave myself was ‘Mandalore’ since the first two episodes were all about Sabine and Mandalore.
