Abstragedy Day 5: Any AU!

This is based on The Greatest Traveling Circus AU, by @lumineary-arts ! Check it out it is super amazing!!! They have made such beautiful art and animatics of this AU and I honestly cannot get enough of it!

Okay. Here me out. Bubble as a menu guide/ovreworld companion that follows you around similar to Paimon from Genshin Impact or that one fairy from Majora's Mask.

(Don’t know if this already is a thing or not)

Like just imagine this duo. Harlequin!Ponmi and Bubble would be an unstoppable pair to deal with, their both such menaces!

I also think Caine could also sometimes speak through bubble whenever you spend a lot of time in a certain area without reaching your objective, offering to guide you!

You could also get a bubble POV in order to see some areas ahead. You could check on the enemies there and make a plan or guide it in order to solve puzzles...

Speaking of puzzles, there could be some mechanisms were you can leave Bubble inside in order to power terminals, activate things and stuff!

Another thing could be that if you play on "Hard mode", apart from combat being more difficult, maybe Ponmi could be more reluctant to ask for help and Caine would just not offer his help cause he is too busy drinking working.

I've started to concept the idea for a The Amazing Digital Circus x Ride the Cyclone AU

Right now the name is

The Amazing Digital Cyclone

But it might change in the future, work in progress and everything.

Right now everything is in a concept stage and is subject to change in the future, expect the Masterpost and other official content at the end of November.

CONTEXT & INFO [WIP]

The AU will just mix the premise of TADC with the one of RTC instead of being a "Ride the Cyclone but what if TADC characters" type of story. Instead, the story will have the TADC human cast finding themselves, after brutally dying in a rollercoaster incident, in a circus-like-wonderland in-between life and death created by The Marvelous Caine. Here, the members of the Circus shall compete for a chance of being revived, but who's worth it the most?

None of the members remember their past lives, only the feeling they had during and about their death. They do not share the backstories with the original RTC cast, they will share some similarities with some of them at most.

All characters are adults around the same age they are in the original show. They all work/are connected to Uranium's local church and are part of the chuaior, most of the joining as it could have been their ticket out of that boring town.

DESIGNS [WIP]

All the designs shown here are, well, still being designed. Ponmi's specially is still in development, you can take the bottom right head shot as the direction I've decided to take. It's really hard designing a Ponmi, mad kudos to those who already did!

I don't plan on changing Caine's design outside from expanding it and adding more detail. He was very easy to design and all the elements floated into place as I drew, unlike Ponmi who has been hell on earth. I change his title from "The Amazing" to "The Marvelous" because, and bare with me, the world marvelous feels more purple to me and that is this version of Caine's main color. I don't know how I feel about taking away his characteristic red but I do like the diversity it brings to the "Caine roster".

Bubble takes after the rat that's nibbling Karnek wires (ultimately killing both of them in the end), I do not know if the same will happen in this universe though. I might make some slight tweets to his design cause I just can't seem to get the teeth right.

I haven't made any other concept art for the other members designs but I will get there eventually!

OTHER

I don't know what is the format this au is being taught in (comic, show, video game, visual novel and so on...) so any type of world building in that way is a bit iffy.

Consequently, I have no idea if any NPCs like GummyGoo or the Angle will appear but I do like the idea of having them in the au... so who knows?

I'd like to add Able in some way shape or form but try as I might I CAN'T SQUEEZE HIM IN! IT JUST LOOKS LIKE THAT ONE GUY WHO SELF-INSERTED HIMSELF INTO AMPHIBIA I SWEAR!

This is done by a TADC fan who enjoys the concept of Ride the Cyclone and its songs, my priority in what I stay truthfull to is TADC. I just took what I liked from RTC and now I'll create a story with it.

An open OC world where the rich have overtaken everything. The remaining lower class have banded together, creating a bounty for the rich so that they could get a piece of wealth to give back to their communities.

Desperation breeds innovation, so there’s a lot of sci-fi and cyberpunk stuff going on too. It’s a human world, so the TADC cast is definitely out of place here as cartoons. ───────────────

what all did Caine and gangle do to Jax? Or have you already answered that and I’m just blind or smth 😭

I answered that in the post below but I’ll explain it better here,

Basically it’s a metal jaw implant using rods and screws. The first months of jax being awake he got these implants so that he could smile because he was always upset frowning cowering in corners in his room. They believed it would make him look a lot more “amusing” or outgoing as his character was supposed to be. It ended up completely damaging his jaw and face leaving his jaw locked in a smile but gangle managed to fix it slightly he can now move his mouth.

I saw your bliss!au and I find it very interesting. I'm looking forward to reading more about it, but while watching it, questions arose.

How did Pomni lose her arm and leg? How did Ragatha lose her arm and why does she have a plaster on her mouth? Why did Jax forgive Gangle but not Caine? Was Jax built because of all the arms and the defective mouth?

Alrighty so for starters!

Pomni - she lost her leg while caine (and other npcs) were helping the players gain consciousness  as i said the lore has and will change because its not done! Pomni was the last to wake up but in the process of an accident within the lab she was designated to, her arm and leg had to be amputated or it would lead to abstraction (in the bliss au Abstraction is basically just death)

Ragatha- caine believed that ragatha was useless ragatha argued with caine and this caused him to become hostile. she lost her arm after arguing with Caine because he knocked her out and gave her a little surgery, he decided that she didn’t need to speak either. He mutilated her eye and her arm he ripped pieces off of her disregarded arm and stitched them over her mouth.

Jax- Jax believed that gangle at that moment wasn’t truly herself as he knew the npcs that were tangled in with her body were under the control of the game including Caine,Jax has hated Caine since day 1 he hated him with his guts.Jax only hated Caine because of the torment he put them through kinda like zoobles prospective on the adventures he believes that they drive them into insanity faster.

No Jax wasn’t built by the arms he built the arm’s himself while in containment! As for the mouth Caine and gangle have built in two metal rods that force jax to smile his face ended up being stuck like that but they are remove able only by gangle and caine gangle has long since removed them but jaxs mouth stays the same.

the empress is a rank above kinger AND queenie! a rank above zooble, gangle and almost every member except caine sun and moon!, she will stay in the "void" with gangle and zooble most of the time..zoobles home is in the ruins which is just a small project caine stopped working on. zooble , empress and gangle are the same size!

but my question was what was your main idea that you had for you TADC au if you dont mind me asking…

my main idea was a si-fi world made by a c/and/a employee-{pomni} she was sucked into the world along with a few of her co-workers they wandered the world for years and years on end[which was 8-10 years] pomni and half of the group blacked out {pomni - Jax- ragatha} this blackout lasted 16 years| which was a feature pomni set in this simulation game so irl their bodies only aged the years they actually stayed-\in the game world everything changed the people and ai changed and became evil so pomni jax and ragatha/gangle zooble and kinger later on\ help takeout these threats..and maybe som

most ships are non cannon like jax x gangle x ragatha- i just think it would be a cute thing to happen

kinger x queenie is cannon although queenie was abstracted

any other ships are not cannon nor will be marked as such
