โ Besides the Tiara as a wedding gift from Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth IIย & His Royal Highness Prince Andrew The Duke of York, theyย also bought Sarah a suite of diamond jewels in a modern floral design from Garrard. The set consists of a necklace, a bracelet, and a pair of earrings. The set was valued at around $500,000.
โ Upon arrival to the wedding, the Bride was wearing a wreath of flowers atop her veil. By removing both the veil & the wreath of flowers, while signing the register and revealing the Tiara underneath, symbolized that she wanted to enter the Abbey as a commoner and leave as a Duchess.
โ The Duchess keeps the Tiara in her bedside table.ย
