Homemade ornaments going up on a pine tree in the center of the room, a friend setting up a menorah in the center of your table, a big “2020″ being pinned to the wall to celebrate the impending new year. Sock and slipper feet padding all around the house, getting ready for a meal together. Exchanging gifts and hugs in a circle on the floor, your religious friends saying prayers over food. Never wanting to say goodbye when the ball drops in January.
